I used to do my groceries here, but they no longer accept AMEX. I was told about a month ago that they were working on bringing it back, but today I was informed that's no longer the case. Moving forward, I will be shopping at Metro.

Since the new owners, the general quality has declined. Lots of rude young cashiers. Before when we were looking for something we were helped, now we are told that there may be more and that ends there. The cashiers who have still been there from the beginning still do a good job.

Disappointed. This has been our go to grocery for many years, but over the past 6 months or so it has been changing for the worse. Subtle things like more price inaccuracies, missing price tags more common in produce section, shifting around items in the hopes I buy junk not on my list but now it just take longer to do my shopping, increased the foot print of alcohol but reduced your micro brew section. I've loved this grocery for years due to the friendliness, quality of produce, and cleanliness of the store. I'm sure these changes are to try and increase sales, but it's leading me to try shopping else where.

Today, August 6 at 14:29 did a small grocery, went to the speedy cash with 16 articles. The cashier (Christine L) was very rude, she said this cash is for 12 articles. I completely understand but the way she said it was degrading especially for 4 extra articles. I am not a child, I am a senior citizen. There is a proper way to speak to customers. I will never go back to that IGA.

Since the change with the new owners it's been tough. Employees are treated poorly. They are yelled at and schedules are rushed unnecessarily and customer service suffers enormously. I do not recommend it

They no longer take Amex even though their loyalty program is scene points. They lost us as customers. We are now going to another IGA.

No longer takes AMEX which is part of their scene+ loyalty program. I used to spend upwards of $10K/year in groceries at this location but am going elsewhere due to them not taking AMEX anymore.

Congratulations to cashier #2 at the courtesy checkout on July 8 during dinner time, on set in Hull.
I don't know her name, but she wore glasses, had a nice accent, and was constantly smiling! She even packaged my products while I was paying.
Nowadays it is very difficult to have some contact with employees in general. And often the service is outdated.
But this lady really made a difference in my day. She could teach others about customer service.
She deserves great recognition from the employer.

I came often before but they are not ready to see me again. I waited at the checkout for about 20 minutes and there was just one person before me. The couple before me, said they had a cheese on special and they went to check the price with an employee. Took forever to get back. The man in question asked if he could put his order on hold and have other people come through. The cashier told her she couldn't do that. Finally it was my turn. Luckily I checked. She charged me $18 for four plums because she didn't enter the right code. And then I had an item that he couldn't find the price for so again it took forever for him to find the price. During this time I had frozen stuff in my car So all my things had time to thaw So it was the last time I went to that place
