We loved our stay at this campsite!!
We were on pitch 64, which is dug into the slope and gave us the impression of being alone!

We came with a trailer and it was very good. The campsite is very clean and it is pleasant to spend our holidays there. The pool is large and the water is beautiful. The campsite also has a great park for children and a spacious games room on its site. In addition, the place is beautiful and the grounds comfortable.

sofa bed in the living room not comfortable. The stove rings did not all work and no spare garbage bag. For the rest everything was ok.
Rooms: The room with two beds is small

No possibility of operating the sauna at chalet L'olivier. Even the owner couldn't do it. After 2 days of testing, with their staff, we asked for compensation and they offered us $10. Do not choose this chalet if you plan to take a sauna.

Warm welcome, clean and very well equipped chalets, well-maintained spa with breathtaking views of the lake. Clau-Clau Restaurant: good food and perfect service. We will come back for sure. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

As avid supporters of La Banik for over a decade I never thought that I would be taking the time to write a negative review, as all passed dining experiences and stays have been fantastic. We were advised upon arrival that La Banik is under new ownership, and it is evident that things are different, and not for the better. The once fantastic restaurant has been replaced with a joke of a “bistro” named the clau clau. The minuscule menu is not only over priced and underwhelming, everything that is served is being reheated in the microwave. While seated in the 12 seat pub you are able to witness the waitress, who also happens to be the ‘cook’ and bartender take the bland, previously frozen and prepared dishes and shove them in the microwave. Anyone looking to return to La Banik would be better served finding another location.

Good morning,If you had thought about going camping at Camping la Bannik in Ville-Marie Au Témiscamingue to enjoy the excellent restaurant, I invite you to forget your dream. The restaurant was closed in order to have a small Bistro. Before, the restaurant was still large, a good choice of meals and good Bannik breads. Now it's only a small bistro with about 20 seats. They don't really talk about it on their Facebook page or on the website. They just say they've done renovations. When we arrived after an hour of driving, we only saw that it was renovated and from the outside it was beautiful. When we entered the restaurant, that's when we saw that it had become tiny.We ask for water to start, we are told it's only bottled water. I ask if it's free and I'm told no. We politely refuse. We look at the menu and it’s not what it was before. We only ask for Bannik breads with maple butter (that was their specialty). After 5 minutes of searching, the waitress told us there were more.During our trip in 2017, we were disappointed with the state of the toilet blocks. We ask if we can go for a walk on the site to see the land to see if we could come back, we are told that we must pay the access fees. For all these reasons, this campsite is closed for us ?We had wanted to return to eat at this restaurant for 6 years, what a disappointment!
