I had an appointment for an oil change and winter tire installation. I had noticed a knocking noise which was annoying. My advisor Mario Goyette took me to the garage to visually see where the problem was. Very tellingly, both trailer arms required adjustment. I had a pleasant time in the waiting room while having a free coffee. Mario came several times to see if I would prefer to be driven home. I enjoyed my time and the social interactions as well as the opportunity to look at some of the car models on display.
Finally, they washed my car too. ?
Now with the repairs done I feel like I'm riding on a cloud. No more knocks and noises. ✅

Enjoyed my time and the social interactions as well as the possibility to look over some cars display.
In the end they also washed my car. ? Now that the repairs were done I have the feeling that I am driving on a cloud. No bumps, no noises. ✅

Everything has always been great here. I have just recently leased my third Ford and I have been quite happy in the past. This time, I am worried and I'll get to that at the end. First the good news! Everyone is very kind at West Island Ford. It is a family-owned business, just a little over 10 years. William Tobin and his brother Sam Tobin are very professional. William runs the Service Department and Sam is the Sales Manager there. Denis from the Service Department is also very patient and helpful, ask for him if you have an emergency. Jason Waterhouse and Emily Brunner are also quite nice. They were both very patient with my many questions. It's an efficient system they have for the sales/lease acquisition process from start to finish. You will go from a Sales person to a Sales Manager to Jason and then Emily. Be sure you at least know your maximum budget because they have so many ways of configuring the numbers on the disclosure, you won't know what's happening by the end. At least that's the case for me. I ended up paying a 5.9% interest rate versus a 2.9% as advertised in the build and price on the web. Now to the bad part, and I am losing sleep over this and need to call them. I did not test drive the actual vehicle I got but rather drove the EXACT same model of the 2024 Bronco Sport for 5 days as a courtesy car. I also test-drove another one a few weeks before, so when it came to leasing my new one, I didn't think I had to. WRONG. As soon as I dove off the lot my heart sank. The engine on this thing vibrates at idle right through the steering wheel, the dash, the center console, my seat, the brake pedal! I am horrified but I was too embarrassed to go back right away. I want to give it time, thinking it's a glitch and will work itself out. Well, it's been three days and 100kms and it's still there. Anew car sould not do this. From what I am reading on line, it's not good. Anyway, that's all I will say on this. I'm crushed. PLEASE test drive your actual vehicle no matter what. I hope they will actually fix this problem and hope it's actually fixable. I can't imagine 3 years at 660$ per month of this vibration.

The best service ever they know how to take care of their clients! From Francois and David which is helping at the service counter right now, yes know them by name as they all their clients. It's a family not just a place to get your car taken care of and they care!!

As in the past, we were very satisfied with the entire process by West Island Ford in servicing our 2 Lincolns. This time it was to check a warning "notice" about tires. The appointment was made easily, we were treated well at the service department, and the issue was handled well.

The problem was well repaired however :
- I feel the Service Department has not done a detailed & professional inspection over 1 month ago on my brakes (even if I specified feeling steering wheel vibrations when braking)
- After that FIRST inspection I was told my bakes were in OK condition. I was charged for this inspection
- This is leading me to leave my car a SECOND time a week ago and finally spending about $1,300 on my Front & Rear brakes

Nothing to say about the service itself, which was excellent. A rating of 4 though because one of my USB cables disappeared from the car. I had parked my MKC in the garage provided for this purpose, without locking it. Maybe a customer took the liberty of taking it, but I found it a shame. No...it couldn't be anywhere else because it's the one that controls my iPhone and it remained plugged into the socket provided for this purpose when I parked the car. Really sorry for this setback, but hey!
