Can’t say anything less than an amazing team. I needed to move from Ottawa to Montreal last minute, I had the luck of finding Vasy movers. They were ahead of time arriving and when they started Pat made sure all my furniture was well taken care of. A company like this is what we needed. Thank you Pat, Mike and sorry I don’t remember the other gentleman’s name.

This is the first time I have had movers arrive 30 minutes early. They were two young people, but they had good chemistry, which resulted in a very effective execution. I recommend them to you.

Ok I've given them months now... time to review.I hired Vasy Movers ( owner: Mike VASILESCU) back in December 2021 to move me and my relatively light amount of stuff from ON to NS.Price was good because it was a one shot with multiple People's stuff going the same way in a long trailer. But on the day of arrival the owner messaged me to tell me it was going to be more money... which is what I was warned about by several people. Luckily it was moderately reasonable not some crazy number. However upon arrival and unloading there was only 2 people working, the driver approximately late 50s, and the unloaded approximately late 60s if not 70s (all about old timers getting work... but) I was standing in the area on the phone when they yelled for me to come help. It was then expected of me to actually assist them.. I had just had a heart attack 2 months prior but these two pretty much had me do all the work. I eneded up moving from the truck to my garage about 75% of my stuff. It was clear that these 2 alone were incapable of the work load by themselves.... a few things were broken, but I don't fault them because I didn't wrap the items well.I did not expect to pay thousands of dollars (cash to drop the hst) to then do most of the work! The truck was so unorganized that my stuff was here and there mixed with other peoppes stuff. To date I am still missing items valued at $1500. My work gas powered stihl pole saw was first realize missing. So I messaged Vasy and they sent a picture of the pole saw and acknowledged it.... but its been 6 months now, no contact since. My conclusion: vasy is a discount service, that is on the unstructured, unprofessional side of the spectrum. Though I knew I was getting a good deal I was assured I was getting professional service. They're obviously not organized enough on the labor and transport side which is strange because that is their whole service. I expected them to go above and beyond to return my items however I was asked to wait until they come back around... haven't been told when, and I use the saw for doing tree removal which I haven't been able to do since moving here because of my missing equipment.Would NOT recommend Vasy Movers. Hiring them is a risk. If they rectify their errors by returning the value of my saw in payment, or get my saw to me at no cost to me, I'd amend my review, based on customer service.

Booked Vasy for our move to Charlottetown from Toronto. Mike was great about coordinating and Gordon and his team were great for the pickup and delivery. I felt my stuff was in good hands and the delivery was very timely.

We hired Vasy Movers for our move from ON to NS. Our property needed to go to a storage unit temporarily until we found housing in NS. The storage unit was packed so poorly and things were just thrown in there like a heap of a mess, so my husband and I could not even go back and retrieve anything out of the unit if we wanted to nor could we tell what had made it and what hadn't. This was in August 2022.Now we bought a house and were so excited to get everything out of storage and settle in to our new place, only to discover how much of it was missing.Right away its apparent my brand new $400 rug I had purchased just before moving here did not make it? My husband's weighted blanket another $140 was not in the unit and numerous other small items are missing (curtains and curtain rod, kitchen garbage which I had all of my cleaning supplies, broom, mop plunger etc in the bin, my husband's hamper is missing which had a bag of ties a pair of dress shoes etc) the list goes on, and while these are small items its still frustrating and annoying to have to replace it all.I could not let them know what was missing in August because as I mentioned everything was thrown into the storage unit in a heap of a mess. I am not impressed at all. How does a brand new 8 by 10 rug just go missing? They said our stuff would be moved in a large truck with other moves but assured us each move was blocked off and kept seperate and would be safe and organized. I hope whoever has my brand new rug enjoys it.I know moves like this are rough to begin with so was happy to have the help of a company to transport our property but the value of missing/lost/stolen items is not pocket change.I was so upset the day we emptied the storage unit about everything missing when it should have been a happy day.Updated: Dec 11thYou stated very clearly to list the MAJOR/LARGE items of furniture and boxes.I sent you many pictures through email... this picture included... which clearly shows the rug that matches my living room furniture. The $400 rug was nicely rolled and taped by me.The rug was put on the truck but never taken off at the other end.(My livingroom without my rug now, image also included)The 65 inch TV and the 60 inch TV weren't on your quote list either but thankfully made it to my house. As I said, I sent you many pictures of my belongings through email. So what you are saying then (for anyone using your service going forward) is that they should include an itemized list of "absolutely" everything they own because God forbid its not on the quote then its eligible/liable to not make it to your home lol.I am not looking for compensation. It is my prerogative to leave a fair and truthful review.

Good price and the movers were very fast in loading/unloading. The downside is that most of my furnitures got scratched and some got broken - especially my costly ergonomic chair that I use for WFH everyday and absolutely need for my previously injured lower back. I asked for a credit back to cover the cost of repair ($300 replacement part + repair cost) and was credited back $150 since I reported it the next day, not the day of receiving my items. I'm still happy that they gave me some credit back to cover part of the cost. I suggest you check for broken belongings immediately upon receiving the items - before completing the transaction and before the movers leave. I also suggest wrapping *everything*, and for any fragile/expensive belongings you should bring them in your own car. The move was from Ontario to Quebec so the drop-off was a day after the pick-up date. The drop-off was supposed to be early Sunday afternoon but they ended up arriving at 9pm -- that's over 6 hours of waiting which was very inconvenient for my own family logistics and I ended up not having enough time to unpack to be ready for work the next day. Their lateness was due to their packed schedule of many move jobs in one day and inevitably any delays affect all later deliveries of that day. Another thing to note is that there are additional costs ($150 increments) if you underestimated the amount of belongings in your original quote or if you want additional stops.
