This location either needs more employees or better employees, while the lineups were getting huge at multiple registers, the only employees that were not talking to each other did not seem to know how to do their job, scanning a single product a minute and having to get their (uninformed) supervisors at every customer.

Expired food, missing price tags on produce, poor customer service (employees make no eye contact with customers, most of them look angry and tired). The entire grocery store looks not put together and dirty.
Constant empty shelves on sale items, stock is never replenished, yet the store has 30-40 employed students in store on weekends.
Unfortunately, this grocery store is the only large grocer in my community and I am constantly being let down by the quality and service.
I am writing this only for the prime purpose that I pray ? the owners take a look at the comments here and start making a change.
If not I hope a larger grocer moves in with higher standards and competitive prices that will provide customers quality service and products.

More trickery
I went to this store, as I often do. A week ago, I noticed after I left that the cashier charged me for cara cara oranges 13.00 instead of my naval oranges which would have cost approx 5 dollars. Tonight, I went agaimand same thing. I bought the oranges that said 99 cents and she charged me over 12 dollars for 5 oranges and they were rung in as cara cara. When I mentioned it, she asked how many oranges and I said I have no idea and she counted 5 and rang in each orange for 99 cents each. Seems like a trick that they would post 99 cents when really they are 99 cents each...everywhere else, they would be 99 cents each. I went to cheque the sign and she and the bag boy laughed and spoke in french, she was eating snacks at the counter and they were both really rude. Never stopped chatting through the entire transaction. In fact when she asked for my scene card, I didn't even realize she was speaking to me because they had been lkeeping a seemless conversation the whole time. ...I use this store as a go to bit that will stop now. Rude, trickery pricing.g and unprofessional staff.groceries are not cheap these days at the very least pthe employees could do their job. I guess they think its funny to overcharge for already overpriced produce

????No, but at some point there are limits to wanting to make a profit. I'm talking here about all ready-to-go meals. An example as insignificant as a small $5.49 celery dish that measures about 2 inches square and contains at most two stalks of celery. I'm also talking about small sandwiches.......two slices of bread and a small, very thin preparation $4.99......
Wraps with a good level of preparation which were 4.99 about 3 years ago, which are now 7.99. No, but at some point...
You simply have to compare these items to the Super C or the maxi for example it's half the price...and much less....
So what we take away from all this is that the Charles family IgA are there to make money$$$$$$ and big money$$$$$$?????
Don't come and talk to me here about inflation or transport costs....
It's simply pure scam!!!!!!!

Every time I come here I am so impressed with the store. The staff have always been friendly, not once has someone been rude to me, including for not speaking French and are all very patient when I try out my slow language learning.They can pack groceries properly (seriously, the young man that helped me today actually put the frozen stuff together in my insulated bag!), the prices are usually really competitive, there's lots of variety and ample parking, it's clean and well stocked, the aisles are wide and you can navigate with ease in almost every part of the store. They have cart stalls in the lot and they retrieve them and bring them inside regularly, Some of these might seem like no-brainers but there has been a slow decline in even the most basic of services at grocery stores. Which only makes this store stand out all the more.I think they should consider expanding their meat area, although they do great for the space they have.Sometimes I can't find the thing I need, but it's usually not because it's out of stock, it probably just isn't in the program or was discontinued.Do I wish this place was closer to me? Heck yes!! Will I drive 45 mins to shop here? Every chance I get.Highly recommend.

I walked in at 8:50 on Thursday, Nov 9. The store closed at 9:00. As I rushed through the clerks politely waited and were friendly, all of them. Even the lady who got the door for me. I left at 9:03. I apologized for keeping them and they were very pleasant and helpful. I hate to shop like this because I know what it’s like to work in a shop and have those last minute shoppers. (Btw- I almost would never do this).I’m so impressed with the courteousness of this store.
