I had a good experience purchasing my certified Honda vehicle. Having experienced discomfort in my driving during the 4 months following the purchase, I had an inspection at another Honda dealership. The latter recommended several interviews that needed to be done. I spoke to the Honda Chambly salesman about it who suggested I make an appointment. I make an appointment and drive 2.5 hours to learn that certified used vehicles are not subject to any maintenance before sale. And this is not covered by the warranty.
Why do I give a bad rating? Because they could have told me on the phone instead of making me travel, and also because it would have been good to specify it when purchasing.
For me, a certified vehicle is supposed to be maintained beforehand.

Worst experience in the service department.
CVT transmission replacement. Estimated at more or less $5000. Like any good garage and they found other things....6900$
I take possession of the vehicle, smell of antifreeze, call back to the garage to be told the mechanic has carried out a test on the road, he assumed that the smell was due to the repair....
Back to the garage, ahhhh the transmission cooler is leaking this time. The piece is on Ebay for $119 at Honda, $550 plus installation. Another $720
I had to go to N.B. with my CRV to imagine the bill if the engine would run out of antifreeze. And this after a test drive and confirmation that everything was fine.LOL I pity the customers, who blindly trust Chambly Honda, they have to get over it a little quickly...
No additional courtesy car....
The icing on the cake. The CVT transmission is leaking. Ahhhh it is guaranteed but not the labor they want another $1500
Hello the vehicle is worth less than the bill of $7600 Well yes why not another $1500 more

Unfortunately, this dealership does nothing to improve the bad reputation of car dealerships by increasing the bill for washing my vehicle without notice under the pretext of having misvalued the work. Only one visit and my last.
ADDED: The response below from the dealer is inaccurate and even dishonest. This behavior reinforces my initial statement.

I purchased a good used vehicle, but there was no cleaning in the vehicle even though it was promised.
When picking up the vehicle, there was a foul smell, trash in the back seat and my Dashboard was stained.
I had to pay money myself to clean with PlastX!

I wanted to encourage my local dealer when purchasing my new 2024 civic sport except that my disappointment was very great when I noticed once I got home that I was billed without my knowledge, without my consent the protection of rims. Which is prohibited by the consumer law (LPC 230a.) I could have filed a formal notice to the OPC it is illegal to do that. My protection package which had been negotiated during from the first purchase offer, I never got it. The mistake I made was to sign a first sales contract and to have changed my mind about the model without signing a new offer purchase. However, all the options had been renewed on this last offer but without my signature. Next time I will bring my husband.

It is impossible to make a service appointment if we do not have our vehicle serial number immediately.
Non-negotiable
The vehicle is at home
I am in Montreal
They don't want to make an appointment if I don't have my vehicle serial number
I have two children
They don't even want to make the appointment right away and I provide them with the serial number later
Not even 15 minutes later
They are intransigent and extremist
They are very rude too
Don't go as low
If they don't want to make an appointment because we don't have our serial number
IMAGINE IF THERE IS A PROBLEM AFTER THE REPAIR.
They will make your life hard

Hello all. Bought this used Passport from Chambly Honda the 15th of March. I’m taking the time to write the review. Because it’s really worth the time. The personal and professional service this dealer gives from the departments (Pièces/Parts François, Service Marc-Antoine, the mechanical technicien Daniel to this 20-30 years old tire technicien…and many more in the garage is totally amazing. I’ve personnally never experienced this. I’m new to the Honda family after being a 30-35 years Volkswagen owner. All this to say that they treat you with respect, suggest honest solutions that prove they’re not only there to make a quick buck. They give you honest confidence and for me in 2024 that’s a WOW. That team is totally amazing. Thank you to the Honda Chambly crew (Service/Pieces/Techniciens). Owner, manager of Chambly. Please keep that team in place and continue in that personal service you have there. If I could give a 6 * on this review. It would have been a 6. Note: I pimped the Passport a bit with the help of these guys from the day I bought it as seen from the pics. ?? Gary Dufour

I bought car in the end of August 2023. The real problem started in early October when the winter drops to negative. I didn’t drive much as working remotely more often. The car started making murmur noises upon driving 3 to 4 hours and also the front door makes the crack sound when I open it. These problem disappear when the weather gets warm. I called Honda chambly for service. They are asking like 129 dollar for greasing and tightening the hinge bolt. I did it myself but still the problem resist. Worst experience of my purchasing the car.
