Very poor customer service experience during my visit last Monday to this branch.
I asked an attendant for permission to go to the bathroom for an emergency. She asked her supervisor but he flatly refused to give me access in an unpleasant and harsh tone, telling me to go to neighboring businesses.
That since the pandemic (2022) they no longer give access to customers.
Really overzealous and no empathy on his part.
The SAQ is a public building and I believe that the customer should have access to the bathrooms.
I don't wish this gentleman to have an emergency...He might have been more open...

Well...I understand that they are in negotiations for better working conditions and I respect that but to penalize the customers!!? I went there last night and yes I arrived 8 minutes before closing, I was the only customer! They were all at the checkout and chatting together, I must have called quite loudly; Can somebody help me please? A nice young man ended up helping me...it goes faster, right? Then, even though I was still there, they turned off the lights in my face, before 9 a.m.! I had to run to the cash register and the very "young girl" (lucky to have a job at this salary in my opinion!) replied: we don't get paid after 9 a.m....but it's not not yet 9 hours there!! Is this necessary?? Treating customers this way, which means they have a "job" after all, respect! It's a customer service job and if it's not a good fit go work somewhere else! Even in conflict, we must respect customers who have nothing to do with it. I can tell you that I am less respectful of their demands today, we know that they say to themselves, people have no choice if they want good wine...it's pitiful! ?

Passed by on February 15 to buy a few bottles and an advisor (unfortunately I didn't know his name, but he has an armadillo sleeve on his left arm) welcomed me and took the time to advise me. I really appreciated his courtesy and kindness :) Thank you!
