This garage is really not reliable. My tank overheated, I had to pay almost $300 and the problem still existed. They told me it's irreparable because of my engine. Went searching on YouTube, in the end I personally discovered that it was just a poorly connected wire. Grief for my $300 that they charged...

To those reading this, I recommend you take your shopping experience elsewhere and encourage another store, because clearly this branch of Canadian Tire does not have the customer experience at heart.
If you have to buy a tool and ask to speak to someone over lunch, most likely you will get the answer like me:
“You'll have to wait, the person will arrive at 1 o'clock..” … yes yes I have 20 minutes to waste going around in circles to come and buy something simple from you… always practical to have tools in display cases not accessible to customers…
It goes without saying that customer service is not high on their priorities, and the clerk who made this remark to me did not even attempt to make a APPEARANCE of effort to find a solution to my request...easier to pass the problem on to someone else, cut up some cardboard and “wash your hands of it”
In short, this is not my first bad experience in this store, but the first that is finally worth an appreciation. However most likely the latter, it is better to spend in a company that at least pretends to have the customer experience at heart!
1 star remains generous for the annoying service otherwise.. I believe that a buyer has a better chance of winning $20 in the lottery than finding someone to help them in this establishment…

Tires (less than 1 year old) purchased and stored at Canadian Tire thrown away/stolen from warehouse. I was contacted by the auto service and asked to keep the tires beyond 8 months, against payment. The person who contacted me even made the joke: "do you want us to throw your tires in the drain?" The manager Eric is not at all attentive, blames me and is aggressive in addition to being useless in resolving this problem and simply reimbursing me. Only response, defensive and in an aggressive tone , which I got from this person: "We can't do anything for you, we contacted you and you didn't respond" which is wrong, since I responded and asked to store the tires. I will try to get reimbursed by contacting the management of the Store or the Corp since the car manager is incompetent in this case and is dishonest in his exchanges. He asks me for proof of what I said, to me as a customer (liar???), even though customer calls are supposed to be recorded. The only proof he gave me Eric, to show that he is right and that he can't do anything, is that he himself tried to contact me and wrote the comment on the CRM system...
In summary: 4 tires purchased, installed and stolen from Canadian Tire and Eric the Auto manager blames the customer! And gets angry and aggressive when told that what is written on the system is incorrect/out of date and does not describe the reality of the situation.

I regret not having read the reviews of the garage before doing business with them.
I'm bringing my car in for a problem with my steering. I am told that the complete rack needs to be replaced, in addition to the alignment and muffler and therefore a cost of $2,685.
Two days later, my check engine came on so I went back. They tell me that it has nothing to do with the repairs previously made and that it is now a problem related to the brake fluid which is apparently at 0 therefore a cost of only $137.
Two more days later, my check engine lights up again, I mention to them that according to my car's manual, it could possibly have a link with the antipollution/exhaust system as my muffler was replaced, it can only have a related to the repairs they initially did on my car. They tell me that no it's impossible now it's my battery and that it will be $205 but that they're giving it to me at a discount of $96.
All this so that three days later my check engine turned on again (again) and I decided to go to another garage who checked the work initially done and confirmed to me that it was indeed a situation with the system. anti-pollution.
To date, everything seems fine for 1 week, but I still had to pay this garage $201 to repair a problem that Canadian Tire had caused.
I find it really unfortunate to see that we are taking advantage of customers' lack of mechanical knowledge to make us do unjustified work. I spent almost $500 on unnecessary work and who knows if the $2,685 was actually even required, at that point I will never know.

2 stars mostly because of the poor after sale service.
Bought a Honeywell tower fan, and after opening it, I realized that the remote was missing. Upon going back the suggestion is to contact Honeywell directly and ask them for an exchange letter instead of CT contacting them.
Also, the purchase doesn't reflect on the app at least for 10 days. Simply horrible!
