Don't buy meat there. Especially chicken.
2 times out of 3, pack says it's from the same day, but the chicken has a freaking foul odor like rotten eggs. Disgusting and really sad to waste money like that.

Les rosettes de boeuf étaient annoncés en circulaire à 19.82$ le kg. J'arrive et les paquets sont à 23.43$ je demande à voir le responsable de la boucherie. Un monsieur TRES désagréable comme j'en ai rarement vu! Je n'ai pas fait appliquer la loi car j'aurais dû avoir 10$ de rabais mais je ne reviendrai plus. Il y a tellement d'épicerie , ce n'est pas le choix qui manque!!

Beware...it often happens that discounts are not recorded in their system and therefore are not applied at checkout. Worse still, when we point it out to them and demand that the item be given to us, as the law prescribes (for items under $10), we are told that it is the wholesaler's fault if the barcode does not give the right price and, for this reason, we refuse to submit to consumer law. And, as “we lack staff to check everything” we let the incorrect prices pass which, of course, are always to the advantage of the grocery store. The last time this happened to me, the checkout manager knew the item was incorrectly registered and did nothing to correct the situation. Several less attentive customers therefore paid more than $5.00 too much... for an item that should have been priced at $1.88. It is pathetic !!! The price of food is already expensive enough without being fooled by the laxity and/or dishonesty of the grocer.

Since Covid, selection and quality have lost a lot. Also lately, a few times on items that I forgot to check, the expiration date was 1-2 months past. It's pretty ordinary when it's cheese and yogurt. But as a general rule, you always have to check the dates because they rarely rotate the items for sale. They surely have to deal with the lack of labor like the rest of the grocery stores in Boucherville which have also lost several feathers recently.
