After more than 15 years of picking raspberries and blueberries, this year is the last..Very unpleasant welcome from the owner. And what about the lapdog who welcomes you in the field and watches over you all the time while picking!! It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes!!! ... really stressful experience.. go across the street to pick your raspberries and blueberries.

Very rushing, forcing us to take 2 4L baskets if there are 4 of us, even if we know we're going to waste some, because we're not making pie or anything. Forces us to take only 1 plant and we can't even go to the side of the plant or behind it. We are monitored and told after 12 minutes of picking that we must finish before 5 p.m. (because we found ourselves slow) (it is 3:50 p.m.) very unpleasant! And they were very rude.. We've been going there for 10 years but it's over!

We have been going to the Jardins de la vielle Grange for over 15 years. With the arrival of our children we felt we could not judge... We told ourselves that the owner had probably had bad experiences with young people and we accepted the situation. It was still a nice place close to the house. However, today we have had proof that our customers are worth absolutely nothing. Even if we visit the site several times a year… (Raspberries, strawberries and Blueberries) our customers are worth nothing to M Gérard, owner of this business. We are a family of 4 people, we take 2 baskets of raspberries as the owner asks us. We head towards the fields. 25 minutes later precisely, Mr. Gérard shouts to me: ''Hey it doesn't take 1 hour to pick a basket, it takes 15 minutes.'' Nobody except us in the field why rush us like that... Why talk to us about this your, very impolitely Our baskets were almost full, 5 minutes later and we were leaving. The impression of Pick, Pay and Dispose. I asked seriously, we have a time limit for picking. He tells me that it’s his livelihood, we don’t eat too much…We recommend encouraging local businesses, never again, go spend your money elsewhere, you will probably be better received there, especially if you have children.

I am Alain Paquette, Quebec author on healthy eating and health, originally from the Basses-Laurentides region. The old barn is a key place to get fresh pick-your-own fruit during the season. I love the stress-free environment for picking raspberries, you can walk around and choose where you want to pick. It's not too busy and the people are always very friendly. See you again this summer Gérard!

The best place for blueberries (huge) and raspberries plus a play park for children :)Nooo it's closed for the 2020 season, how sad we loved this place and the person who took care of it.
