“Apart from the service, great place. They have everything there, for reasonable prices. Everything is easy to find, and they even make their popcorn. In one of the freezers, there are even little sandwiches that taste great. For the service....they are normally quite rude. A lot of the time you see the owner yelling at the phone outside of his shop. But it is a convenient area. I go here regularly.”

The staff should be able to modify the pack and sell what the client wants I requested to buy 1 from the young man in the department but he said he didn't think that was possible. All the other stores offer it when asked.Not happy with the must buy multiple items to obtain a sale price not everyone is shopping for a family and for those it is not cost effective it's wasting food and money. I order 2 baskets for a special occasion , they really took the time to listen to my needs, requests and budget . They even went the extra mile in providing cotton napkins utensils and plates and wine glasses.
I didn’t just get 2 big baskets I also received to small ones all within my budget.

“Idea place for grocery shopping, especially on a budget. While still keeping produce at a high quality; but still lacking on some products. Could definitely cater more towards the community around them. Overall better than most grocery stores around.”
“Still more expensive than the Maxi but they have some products that i would buy nowhere else. For example, they have amazing people at the bakery who makes absolutely crazy cheese bacon bread. I'll always stop at this store just for this ahah. I also always buy my baguette there. They simply are the best.
Prices can be fairly good with flyers deals and usually, their fresh products looks better than the Maxi.
They also are one of the first store I saw that was highly discounting products close to "best before" dates to avoid spoiling food that would end up in the garbage. All stores should do this. I bought a pie 3$ instead of 14$. Barely spoiled. I removed the spot that was no longer good and ate the entire pie. Was feeling good to fight food waste one pie at time. I hope more stores will do it as seriously as this Metro store handles it.
Old review 6 years ago: More expensive than the Maxi&Co on the other side of street for many products but they hold different kind of products like Sushis (always price reductions on those, it's amazing), etc. Overall, it's always great to have competition in retail stores. Prices are more fair and we have wider variety of products to choose from. Will keep buying some stuff here!”

“I work there, it's a very nice team, and very good employers. It's not the biggest Wal-Mart, but it has plenty of merchandise for everyone, and it's a great savings opportunity if you shop at Wal-Mart. The only downside is that we don't sell fresh fruits and vegetables in this branch, and there is very little space for food. Four stars!”
“The store is always clean and the staffs are super great and kind. Mrs.Gisselle in the bakery she is super extremely good, polite, helpful and always ready to give a lending hear. Mrs.Samantha is also super great very respectful, caring and always ready to listen to what you have to say.”

“Perfect for finding fine ingredients that you can't find elsewhere. I love the kim phat product line and it would be really great to have even more products from this brand, for example dark soy sauce which is hard to find.”
