My fiance went here to get her engagement ring resized, and despite repeating to the jeweler that she didn't know how tight a ring should be and requesting for his professional opinion, he failed to provide it. Simply repeating "you're the customer, you choose"Then finally when they settle on a size based on band thickness and tester ring fittings, she returns to pick it up to discover he didn't even stick to the agreed up size ! He went a quarter size up so now it doesn't fit properly.

The proprietor stunned me with his rude and disrespectful behavior. I brought my 84-yr old mom's necklace (a gift my recently deceased father gave Mom on her wedding day 57 yrs ago) for Magdor's owner to advise whether it needed to be re-strung. When I told him my father had died and this necklace was a gift to mom on their wedding day he actually BURST OUT LAUGHING and said "Oh yeah, poor her" and told us it was worth nothing. When I told him it was worth something to my mom and she still wore the necklace, he laughed cynically AGAIN and said "Really??". This man's disgraceful, snobbish behavior made us feel cheap; he only had to be frank and tell us the facts. Sadly, I was a client at this store many times in the past for my daughters and spouse but I will never step foot in the store again. This may be a family business but family values are sorely lacking.
