On the plus side: The location within a forest provides shade. Our cabin had black out curtains and the beds were comfortable.
The staff was very friendly. There is a common room with a fridge and stove, and there is a pool.
To improve: maintenance and cleaning. The washroom was not clean. There are 3 toilets in the ladies' and at least one of them was almost always clogged during our 5 day stay. Of the remaining two, one would usually be quite dirty. This leaves one toilet ok. But since that would become the preferred toilet, it usually ran out of toilet paper. It seems to me that the cleaning frequency was not enough, or maybe some of the guests were not considerate enough (I saw used sanitary pads laying around). Either way, the ladies washroom felt usually gross during our stay.
Further, the outdoor table at our cabin had loose old paint patches...a refresh would be needed.
Finally, the firepit has no barbecue grill.

The campsite locates at mid of PEI,which to Charlottetown within 30mins. It’s quiet and everyone enjoy their private space. The cabin we stayed in is clean like new. The infrastructure was well maintained and keep clean. I like the swimming pool BTW.??

This campground is a far cry from the previous owners. There is no full time Staff at the Main Check in so you have to call a number. Facilities have still not been totally cleaned up from Fiona. I understand it takes a bit of time but having brush piles on the sites and branches sticking into the sides that hit your RV is unacceptable. The entrance needs to be graded as the ruts in the road rock your RV. This setting would be a great location with a really good cleanup and Full time Staff that patrol and care about it's clients

Warm welcome, the cabins are good and can accommodate several people but it is a little cold at night. Superb site with all amenities. Reasonable price. Dog friendly.

Excellent affordable cabins here. Shared washroom but clean. The beds are very rigid, bring foam or air mattresses. Sleeps 5. Very friendly staff. Will come

Very sad to see the state of this once beautiful place. Over the last few years the new owners have barely made an effort at maintaining the place. Duct tape is used to repair screen doors. The same screen doors that barely stay in their tracks because they are twisted and broken. The futons are old, lumpy and dirty. The plastic mattress cover is duct taped too. The floor of our cabin was covered in sand, I have no clue what sort of cleaning they did but after spending 4 nights there and seeing the state of the bathrooms… I doubt their cleaning standards are high. The day we left I was at 36 hrs and counting without seeing any cleaning done in the women’s bathroom! The shower grates are not lifted so what is accumulating in there is gross. Pride of ownership is gone. Fiona did a lot of damage but again very little was done to make this operable beyond clearing so that we can almost park without scratching the vehicles. Sad to say but after 10 years of yearly visits, this was the last time.Rooms: Futon was dirty and lumpy. Definitely had not been updated in a long time and, being fabric, I have no clue how they clean it but based on the cleaning standard I saw for the washrooms, I doubt anything is done to clean it after each visitor.Safety: There were a lot of piles of wood that were not being looked at. A lot of energy went into moving a garbage bin in front of what used to be a recycling area but other than that, no work was done while we were there to clear anything up.Food & drinks: It is a campsite so you make your own but they used to recycle and they stopped other than to gather the beverage containers that might be returnable the rest just goes into a great big garbage bin.
