I was buying an ornament of a mouse holding a rainbow, and received a compliment from an employee on my purchase. I thanked them, saying that I already had one and they would be wives, to which they responded that they totally agreed that the mice had an inherent lesbianism to them, and proceeded to show me two mice who looked like a queer couple. On their way out, they winked at me, thereby causing me to thank higher powers for femme people and write a tweet. In summation, I went looking for birthday gifts and found my own little queer friendship, 10/10 experience.
