Was enrt from Halifax when I noticed a shredded tire on our trailer...weird I know! But I called Coastal and spoke with Rob. Off the hop I told him my name and the sitch. He treated me like we were buds (professionally) and had his guys attend. They were very professional, helpful, and empathetic. Even when I told Rob our location he gave me some local history and shared a few laughs. All in all...would I have Rob and his family over for some beers and a BBQ? Yes, yes I would!

Was on vacation in a rental car, and we got a flat tire. Pulled up to this place cause it was the closest, and they wouldn’t even make eye contact while we told them our problem and said they couldn’t help us. Not friendly at all. Only reason they get a one star is cause they recommended us to a place that actually did help us.

Called to have tubes put in two lawn tractor tires the person on the phone couldnt give me a price then proceeded to tell me there were a few there to be done but they hadn't gotten around to them. So no price or time frame to get them done. Poor customer service in my opinion.

Took my car to mount some new tires. Their inexperienced trainee broke my lug stud by blindly following the book. Anyone with some wrenching experience can feel when the bolt is not torquing and should stop before it snaps. Worse thing is they blame it on the customer for the aftermarket studs and not refuse to take the broken stud out. Now I have to deal with the mess they left, what a ripped off. You probably know better than the trainees working the shop.

Kinda d*** writing a review but it's bugging me and maybe I'm not the only one it happened to this past winter. We've taken our car to Coast Tire for several years and have never had a problem. This past winter, got the winter tires changed. I noticed a week later our nut covers were not given back to us with our summer tires. Had my husband call and they said they would look for them and call him back. He never heard back. So, he stops by while in town and asks about them. Maybe the guy was having a bad day, I don't really care. He was rude about the whole thing, very unprofessional in my opinion, but said he'd order us new ones at the request of the lady at the front. Almost four months later and here we are, no nut covers and an irritated customer. We definitely will not be back.

Time after time I am blown away with the service. Ingrid And the entire crew are fantastic, I will continue to bring my truck here for everything they do. It just sucks they don't do it all!

While on vacation in PEI we had some car trouble. Called a few places and got turned away because they were booked solid for weeks. Called Coast Tire - explained the situation- and they looked at the car that day, ordered the part and had the car back to us the following afternoon! And everyone we spoke with on staff was very friendly. Thank you for everything. Not only did you save our vacation but you ensured our car could get us safely home.
