Usually a fairly long wait for a teller. It's not uncommon to have only one on, and if you need something that isn't at hand - they can't serve you at all as they can't leave their wicket.Recently severely reduced the hours accessible to their ATMs from 24 hours (see pic).

Location under staffed leading to long waits. Staff were generally courteous and professional, but expect to wait 30 - 60 minutes for basic services. I got my account specifically to transfer money to Mauritius. My first transfer went fine, but my next one to the exact same account (belonging to my fiancee) triggered a fraud alert. Fine, I appreciate the automated protection, but I've been working to resolve the issue for a week now, have gone to the branch twice, called the number on my bank card twice, talked to the fraud team three times, and finally talked to the global money transfer team. No one seems to be able to unlock my card or help me do the one thing I got a CIBC account to do. Meanwhile, a money transfer that I urgently needed to lockdown an apartment hasn't made it to my fiancees account. I'm aware that there is a lot of fraud these days, but this is a legitimate transaction and failure to move my money is having real world consequences for us. In total, I've now waisted 8 hours and counting as I'm writing this while on hold with the fraud department, again.

They never answer their phone horrible service they always try to pass blame. My advice: definitely go somewheres else to get a mortgage or basic banking I regret giving them my business

This bank will take your check and then not release money for EIGHT WEEKS! My son had to borrow money to get a cab to the airport to fly home for Christmas when they cashed my check and it cleared the bank months earlier. Now my son is missing out on a lot of activities, school books for class and food because they are once again holding money and not letting him spend it. They’ve had my money for weeks but won’t let him access it for another four to five weeks. Worse, uncaring bank ever. If my son fails classes because they have our money and he can’t continue to buy his school books I will be letting everyone know.

Excellent branch. My husband and I emigrate in Ch'town for a year and all the staff were helpful and nice especially Shelby. even now as I asked for some information one year later I was answered to my e-mail in record time. I wish all banks were like this one and all employees like Shelby.

The worst bank I have ever been to. Had a fraud problem the Branch manager did not take seriously or even return my calls. The police finally took care of it but no help from Branch manager. Plus does anyone else hate how when they go in no one seems happy to help you. Switching banks ASAP.
