Wasted my time today online its says open 10 am but when i came to location someone told me opened at 12 pm you should update online and to let you know i was not alone when i waited 1 hour outside of best buy i saw 2...3 customers drive by like me and after check doors still locked feel disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Best Buy in Ch'town, and that carries over to the products that they carry along with their return policies. I purchased an Oculus Meta Quest 2 for my son last Christmas. It worked for only 3 weeks. When I attempted to take it back, I was told I would have to deal directly with Meta. It has now been NINE full months of ridiculous back and forth e-mails between Meta Support and myself, and they now want me to send back the refurbished controller and head set for a THIRD time as they keep sending me faulty products. I will make sure that from now on I purchase game sets and other products elsewhere as this is a totally unacceptable return policy from Best Buy. Buyers beware.
Update - While I was pleased to hear from the owner of the Best Buy location in Charlottetown, and certainly followed their advice and contacted customer support at the link that they provided, I was once again very disappointed to hear that there was nothing they could do and that I would have to deal directly with the manufacturer (whom I have been dealing with now for nine months already!) These are insincere words and empty promises that sound good in a review but are completely false. I would expect that a game set that was used for only 3 weeks would be refundable or replaceable at the store it was purchased if it is this much trouble to deal with a manufacturer that is so huge that customer service is simply not a priority. This Christmas, I will make sure to buy my gifs elsewhere since the policies at the Best Buy (Charlottetown, PEI) location make refunds and returns so impossible, especially if the item is purchased several weeks before Christmas. There is simply no way to know if an item does not work when it is still gift wrapped under the tree...

I had poor customer service at your charlottetown location yesterday! Went in to pick up my 55-inch TV I ordered online. Gets to customer service, and they get the guy to bring it out. As we were going outside with it, the guy asked me to bring my car by the door as he was extremely busy. So I proceeded to do so.when we got our rig over he just stood there and never bothered to help lift it into the rig. Talk about lazy in my opinion! For the time I took to walk to the rig and bring the rig around took more time than if he had to push the cart with the TV on it and was only parked 3 parking spots from the door. I didn't get his name but I am sure they now who took the TV out!

Harnoor was excellent! It took her a while but she didn't give up to solve my issue. Thank you Harnoor. My Fitbit Luxe now works and is sync with my phone
Best Buy is lucky to have you work for them.

Bought a Playstation 5 and it broke within 5 months of purchase. Took back into store to see if they can help me get it repaired or sent away for fixing because I was told it had a year warrenty and wouldn't have to worry in fist year if anything happens. Was told today that I need to contact Sony myself and there is nothing they can do for me and that I should of bought their monthly electrical warrenty. They will never get my businesses again, wanted to shop local but next time I guess I'll go online.

No customer service. On an island that people may have to travel for 2+ hours there is absolutely no option to talk to someone in store. No matter if you are inquiring about stock availability, or if you are in store and asking about product specifications they always say 'please check the website'. Went to buy a laptop and while I asked for a very specific Acer, I had customer service showing me the WEBPAGE, not even the actual computer, for an HP and that it's was definitely the one I wanted. I had to get rather upset and my husband had to demand the product we came in for. Made me feel as if staff definitely tried to take advantage of a woman. If your looking for anything beyond a webpage to order from, this is not the place. Unfathomable that they don't have, not even don't answer, they literally DO NOT have a phone in store to call for help and that should be the first red flag.

Very rude customer service. Requested a call back for a new cell phone. Never received a call back and that was 10 days ago. All of the owners comments back to the negative reviews with “this certainly does not align with…” really seems it aligns exactly with how he wants to run the business. Also telling customers to go to a website to request help instead of being able to call the store is disgraceful.

I visited to get a new TV, that didn't work out..picked out a tcl 43" model,the lass who helped me was great,I assisted her in gettin it off top shelf...box was in good condition, I accepted a calibration option with a membership fee,ok that was fine. It took nearly a full week cause the tech guy was off sick,went back to check on it,they had no idea about me new Tele. They finally went down back where it wasn't supposed to be, brought it up front,here it was banged and dinged up. I said,what happened to this and one of the higher ups said it can happen durin shipping. No,I said, there wasn't anything wrong with this item when I helped get it off the shelf,and plus they said there was customers ahead of me,I said...that changed,..me here waiting and now ye's forgot and now sayin others are before me,...well,well,well...I see! Me wife told me though after I just said the heck with it,requested a full refund,that a friend of hers got a vcr from them years ago,brought it in for repair under warranty, lost it and her money...still waitin today for the call....imagine! I ended up at Walmart for a new LG tv, and they couldn't do enough for me. Great bunch there that day. NOT GOOD BEST BUY....Not good,atall!

Dumbest thing I've ever heard of in my life.. I cannot call the store because they are open, if I want to talk to a human, I have to go in, despite living 1.5 hours away.. its 2024 and I can't call a store??? Enjoy the digital world folks.. this is what its going to be like from now on
