This is a large, well run KOA, offering a wide range of camping options from tents to cabins. The operation is well maintained and efficient. The patio sites were quite spacious for larger RV’s. Definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful experience for the family. Bathrooms clean. Facilities nice. Location great. Would stay again 😊Few things to consider. Dirt road when coming in. Office store there is very limitec supplies to purchase. Eg Eggs, hot dogs, etc. Suggestion make sure you bring enough food/supplies for a few days. The sites are very small and tight. Theres not a lot of privacy. If you enjoy a little privacy. Firepits are very small and in the ground. Despite the suggestions. Which be helpful to some. We would stay there again. Play ground good. Theres lots to do and with in walking distance or bike ride to several ammenities. 😊

Clean, accommodating and definitely great place for parents with kids. Large area with lots for kids to do. Campfire pits could be dug out more.

Awesome campground, clean and tidy grounds and super friendly staff. Only wish we had been put on a bigger lot.

My boyfriend’s family has camped here seasonally for ages, and I 100% understand why!
The campground’s location is perfect for those staying for any reason: music festivals, shopping, or family fun. Every kiddo we saw during our stay was having a blast. Their playground and pool space is close to the main building, but far enough from the camping sites that there’s an aspect of privacy; for those looking for something quiet and not too rambunctious.
Their bathrooms were clean, and the campsites were the perfect size for what we needed. Everything was super central.
Not only did we make great friends with our site neighbours, but Gigi, Glen, and Peter made our weekend so much more special. They were SO sweet, kept us laughing all weekend, and were always so happy to see us as we came and went each day. They made us feel at home.
We were genuinely sad to leave the KOA when our vacation came to an end. Leaving our little camp family was tough, but we will be back next year- I’ll never choose a different campground if I can help it! Thanks for an amazing stay!

great campsite for visiting cavendish. several activities nearby. It is a typical KOA campsite, for those who are used to it will recognize the brand. For a stop in Cavendish I recommend.

Playground: Alot of stuff for kids to do, swings set with baby and big kid style swings. Large boat for kids to play on and inside of. Alot of areas have sand which is great. Kids always have fun on large orange bouncy thing that is a staple to KOA
Toilets: They have brand new washrooms and showers on both end of campground. Showers are beautiful in those. Even the older style washrooms are very clean, kept up well by staff. Garbages are always emptied.
Dog-friendliness: Little fenced in area for dogs to roam and play. Dog friendly office with pet items inside to purchase. Campground is very clean, people clean up after themselves, it's great!

Only one very minor negative, long gravel entrance to the park. Everything else is positive at this KOA, wish we had more KOAs in Canada like this one. If you are on the island and need a campground I highly recommend the Cavendish KOA.

We arrived at 4 p.m. and the same evening, we learned that we had been flooded with the heavy rains of August 9. We had to leave the next day for an obligatory return to Quebec and despite supporting photos, the manager did not did not want to reimburse us for the remaining nights

It was a very very busy week so hopefully it's not always like this but the bathrooms were always disgusting. Playing roulette every time you went to use one to find one that was clean. The showers were dirty and floors full of hair. The pool area is very run down. I also found a couple of staff members rude. Otherwise, we had a good time.

You can tell by their activity sheet that they try really hard to make your stay enjoyable, and for the most part, it was. Our tent site was large and spacious. Although we were rarely at our site or on the grounds, we enjoyed a few things they offered. The candy bar bingo was fun (bring your own as they will charge you 3 times the price of a bar compared to anywhere else). The petting zoo was neat, and the young man who was there was friendly and talked to us about the animals, their names, and had some fun little stories about them. Our adult kids enjoyed the pool but found the water a little on the cool side. The rest of the playground was well maintained from the looks of it. Laundry machines worked great and were $3 per load.
Not so great... they ran out of weiners within an hour of their free hot dog roast and didn'tsay that they were getting more until we were about to leave, and our site flooded after a rainstorm (water was up to my ankles) so we had to move our tent to higher ground which, thankfully mid week, was not a problem to get another site.
I was surprised to see a $10 charge on my card when I got home. My sil & brother brought us dinner one night, and apparently, they charge for your guests to come in for a couple of hours. They told my brother coming in, he had to leave his car at the front, which meant we needed to drive up and pick them, and the dinner they had brought us and drive them back to our site. Security reasons, which would be fine, but one night as I woke and made my way to the bathroom at 3 am, I spotted two people dressed all in black standing by a vehicle 2 sites away from the bathrooms. It was dark, and I would not have seen them had one not caught my attention by moving slightly behind the vehicle. Needless to say, I message my husband to come meet me and walk with me back to the site.
All in all, we enjoyed it, and it was a central location for most of what we wanted to do while in PEI.
