Steve is an honest man that is running and honest business.
I had closed my garage door on my car and already received one estimate. Wanting to compare that one, I stopped in at Classic Coachwork in Collegeville for a second opinion.
Steve looked at the damage and said that it did not necessarily need to be painted. He cleaned the area for me, and it was almost as good as new. It is not perfect, but it is 90% better and I can live with the way it looks.
I was given the option to have the part pulled off, painted and looking brand new but I opted out. Steve was willing to do the work, if that is what I wanted. He was not turning away the job, but he was also not ripping me off.
I appreciate that he did not make me feel like a complete idiot, which is how I felt when I watched him clean and buff the area.
Steve saved me a lot of money.
If my car ever needs more extensive work, I know exactly where I am going.”
“Got into a little fender bender and dented my back right bumper. So frustrated. I went around the area and collected estimates and going rate was $1200+. Came into Hayes and asked for estimate: ~$850. They worked around my busy schedule and I was able to drop off my car during closed hours and had it ready for pickup a couple of days later. Bumper looked great and they even gave me discount for using cash. Thank you Hayes. Shoutout Nevin, thanks for all your kindness and flexibility.”
“I’m happy I received a replacement power steering pump I ordered about 2 year’s ago but it was not working properly had a leak and I spoke to them about a replacement pump but they didn’t have any they told at the time but finally they take care of me by sending me another pump I’m waiting to see if everything works out…just glad to see they still a few honest people out there”
