Eight short years ago Roach & Ziegler installed a ceramic tile floor in my entry, hallway, kitchen, laundry room, and powder room. Although my floor is only 8 years old, the tiles were uneven and loose throughout; the grout was not a uniform color, and the grout was severely cracked and in some places chunks of grout loosened and popped out. The installers failed to seal the grout or even clean the grout film off of the tiles. The floor began deteriorating after approximately five years. What kind of company installs a tile floor that has inconsistently colored grout and uneven tiles that were not properly adhered to the subfloor. As a result of the sloppy installation, the grout developed long cracks and holes throughout. One would expect a tile installation to hold up for more than five years. The original floor installers did a poor job at every level. I had to spend a great deal of money to hire a company to fix my floor, which Roach & Ziegler refused to do. I approached Roach & Ziegler several times asking for someone to look at the floor, but I could not even get anyone to return a phone call. The employees from the renovation company said the my floor was the worst installation that they had ever seen. If you want to risk having "the worst installation" possible, go ahead and call Roach & Ziegler.

If you have any questions about what's in style or was in style (if you are trying to restore or maintain a vintage look), they are the place to go to.

Great company to work with. So far I have used them for three bathrooms and two kitchens and they make it extremely easy. They give great design advice with current day styles. I will continue to use Roach & Ziegler Interiors for all my future projects.

Roach & Ziegler is a local institution, so when I needed some home improvements that was the first place I went. I recently had my kitchen redone and new carpet installed. It was a fantastic experience. Brad Zeigler, the owner, was the one to help me make all the decisions about the details, and it was a very low-pressure experience. He was not looking to up-sell me, but rather to help me find what worked for me in my budget. He actually talked me out of a more expensive carpet, explaining that the alternative he had in mind would be just as durable. He was also very flexible about when and where to meet. As for the installation, the sub-contractors that R&Z uses are top notch. I had a *very* bad experience with Molyneaux several years ago, so I was apprehensive, but the carpet installation from R&Z was impeccable. No visible seams throughout the whole house, the cuts were perfect, and the men who installed it were great. They were respectful of my home, and worked quickly and quietly. Similar experience with the kitchen. R&Z's subcontractor is a top-notch pro. He did a superb job, and it was obvious that he cared about how the final job looks. I think in general R&Z is just a testament to why it often makes sense to go local. If you live around Zelienople, then you're neighbors with all the guys doing your job. They have reputations in the community to uphold. And more importantly, they care about how their neighbors' houses look. I was so pleased that I went with R&Z for some furniture purchases.
