Avoid, avoid, avoid. I’m building a case against this dealership to Volkswagen America. In the coming weeks as things fall into place I’ll cover everything in great detail here - but in the meantime, avoid! Go to Hanover or Mechanicsburg or Lancaster instead. Incompetence runs deep at York.

I had my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland in for service. They did an oil change and put on new Pirelli tires, they also performed an alignment as well. The service manager, service advisor, and technician that performed this service for me was extremely professional, polite, and overwhelmingly friendly. I couldn’t be more pleased!! The pricing was extremely competitive and actually came in lower than I expected which almost never happens these days unfortunately. I recommend to all my friends, family, and YOU if your reading this to go to York VW not only to buy your New VW or Gently Preowned Vehicle, but come to have your vehicle serviced here by one of their professional technicians!!

York Volkswagen service department provides the most exceptional service. Recently I needed work done on my 22 Atlas and the communication, level of detail, and service delivery were perfect. Couldn’t recommend them more!

BUYERS BEWARE. Bought a vehicle there 2 months ago. I’ve only put 800 miles on it and it now has an oil leak in the hydraulic engine mount. When I reached back out I just continuously got the “it was bought as is” talk and “that’s why we push the extended warranty purchase”. I got nothing but attitude from the service department as they just continuously told me I’m just out of luck because of what I didn’t buy. Mind you, this is a problem that very easily could’ve been and was likely patched just to make a sale. Very disappointed in how they’ve treated me as a customer. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and I’m certainly never buying another vehicle there. If you’re looking to purchase from there, make sure you either personally look over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb or take someone who can because they’ll get you too.

Just when I thought my 'buying a used vehicle,' luck was better. I went ahead and listened to the smooth-talking salesman at York VW, who guaranteed that they don't bring in garbage like the rest and that the vehicles go through everything; within a week, I had my new-to-me Jeep Wrangler in their shop; thank God I got the warranty, I bought last Jan, has less than 100k within the first six months I owned it, I think it was in their shop more than my house. And still today, it is going in again (to another shop) for check engine/codes! I'm very disappointed. I loathe ever buying the vehicle; it's been such a waste of money and time.

Everything was perfect, bought a car, came back to pick it up and all the paperwork was ready. I was in and out, about an hour! Definitely worth buying your next vehicle here. Most importantly thanks for the VW swag items!!!!

This is my 5th new car purchase from York VW. They have a great dealership. From the owner, the sales department, and the service department, I have had excellent support from purchase and ownership of my vehicles. Highly recommend them. Special thanks to Chris, Frank, Lynaya and Brad.

My car was totaled and I had no trade in or downpayment. I, of course, have never had to deal with this before so I had no idea what I was doing or what papers I needed and the dealership was amazing. They were patient with my questions, understanding of my frustrations and extremely supportive of my financial boundaries!!

On 5/6 I spent over 5 hours in Volkswagen York, trying to get an oil change tire rotation an inspection done, wow ... Just because my registration had expired it took me 45 minutes to get into DMV to process that it took me another 4 hours just a process my renewal because Bill Service guy wanted me to send me a link to encrypt the information so I can upload it and download it to my phone and send it to him which have been so much easier if he would have just gave me his email address and I could have just sent it to him so I sat there for all those hours in that process I think that's just ridiculous it shows that these service Guys needs to be trained a little bit better on how to get information instead of giving people the runaround... Next time I'll just go to Mechanicsburg those guys are more professional and they understand time is money.
