My experience with this office was exceptional. I had recieved a notice about a court hearing for failure to file final return. The letter in of itself was intimidating, and I didn't know what to do. Only with a simple phone call, all of my questions were answered as well as all of my issues were addressed in a professional manner. Before physically going to the office, call ahead and see what you need to bring because your issue may be resolved without even stepping foot in the physical building.

I’ve had complicated tax situations for years and every time I have needed help they have been prompt and efficient. It’s a tough line of work and I really appreciate the good service and helpful people working here. Thanks York Adams Tax Bureau!

I got a notice if legal action for not paying taxes from 2015-2022. I didn't even live there in 2015-18 or 22. I lived there from 19-21. I'm so confused and they don't give me any info. I don't have access to all these w2s. I filed my income tax yearly where I lived.

0 stars. Sent a certified letter for "Final notice and demand for payment prior to wage attachment of legal action". When calling to inquire why I never received previous letter apparently sent 12/14/2023 the representative ignored my question. I asked if they had ever actually mailed the letter. They never denied that they hadn't sent letter. I wouldn't have ignored previous correspondence and neglected payment. I obviously had filed my taxes for them to decide I didn't calculate my own tax due correctly. I felt that the "collection fee" is theft.

Illegal practices. Pa already tax their citizens more than enough and on top of filing local and federal taxes while paying property and school taxes of about 6000 to 8000 a year they want you to pay more taxes. Places like this need to be shut down and prosecuted for abuse of elderly and disabled people as well charges of harassment.

Amy was incredibly helpful and so amazing. I was in a panic with my situation, and she calmed me down, walked me through a process that would make things easier for me, and had me send my stuff directly to her and made me a priority when it could’ve been a whole different interaction. I seriously can’t be more thankful for how awesome she was! She even followed up with me to make sure I was able to get everything taken care of. If I could give her ten stars I would! Thank you Amy. Service was fast and friendly for what I needed to do. 3 stars is for this: Remember to bring your checkbook. They need to get with the times. For some reason I couldn't pay my taxes online when I filed online. I went to pay in person. They don't accept credit cards or your debit card, they don't do instant ACHS either. You're going to have to remember to hold the funds until that check clears.
