Would give the Pharmacy 0 if I could. They never run my secondary insurance so keep wanting me to pay. Came Friday said my secondary insurance wouldn't pay for them. They are life sustaining meds I have been on for about 3 years. Same Dr Keep in mind this is life sustaining meds. Came back (it is Monday now, and now they say they have to totally start over)their reason, they can only hold for 11 days. Only got my meds are ready for pick up last Thursday. This will be my last time coming here. Have seen a few others not able to pick up their meds with the pharmacy giving them rough times. Will be filing a complaint. They need to be checked into.

On March 14 around 4:30 pm I dropped off my prescription for Phentermine (weight loss supplement) to be filled. I was told it would take about 15 mins. I came back and the Tech asked me to go back to the Drop-Off window. I was then asked if I had my Doctors phone number. I thought that was odd because on the Prescription is the Dr phone number. However I gave it to the Tech. As soon as I did (1second later) the Pharmacist said he wasn’t going to fill my prescription because it came from an obstetrician. I started to leave and I thought, what???? I went back to the window and ask the pharmacist if he called the doctor because he did write the prescription. The pharmacist response was “Oh yeah, I called him but I’m still not filling this prescription because obstetricians doesn’t write prescriptions for this”. I told him yes they do. Phentermine has been a weight loss go to for me for over 20 years. Dr Michael Parson OBGYN in Baltimore, Md. Dr. Derek J Lindsey OBGYN in Baltimore, Md. just to name a few has a weight loss program for non pregnant women and phentermine is one of their weight loss options. I forgot to mention that last year I filled my phentermine prescription at a different location, Weis Pharmacy, from the same doctor, which they had my same profile from last year. The Pharmacist looks at me and tells me “No they don’t, this is a controlled substance and I can’t fill it”. I left and filled my prescription elsewhere. It was a big inconvenience. I was coming home from work, I work in Md. Weis was the closest pharmacy but I had to go farther out of my way. Weis pharmacist made me feel dirty and fraudulent. How can you call and verify a prescription and still deny service to a patient? Never in my life have I felt discriminated against. I called to report/complain to his manager. She apologized and said he didn’t have a right to do that. She took my name and number and told me management will be calling me back the next afternoon. I wanted a apology from him and to be able to bring my prescription back and as long as they are verifiable, to be filled without prejudice. No one has yet contacted me and I plan to seek legal counsel.

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever used. I called ahead of time when I was going to get my meds and I still had to wait over an hour. I get that they don't care cause it doesn't affect them, but they caused me to be late for something VERY important and it caused me a lot of problems. They told me it would be 20 minutes to fill it....I sat there for OVER AN HOUR! I'd give zero stars if I could.

Very unhappy with the service today. I was trying to use self-checkout. It was not working correctly. I asked the young girl standing there for help. She came over, swiped a card, and walked away while I was saying, "Excuse me, I need help." Items were not scanning. Discounts didn't come off until after she swiped her card. Totally frustrating experience. I can into the store in a good mood. Left in a very bad mood. I will say that the young man bagging trash in the front of the store was very kind and was wishing everyone a good day. I complimented him on his good job. Sorry, I didn't get his name.

I normally get my prescriptions filled at Weis #71’s Pharmacy but they were out of stock of my specific medication, I tried to get it filled at another pharmacy but no one could get in contact with my insurance. I had been out of medication for over a week when I called this pharmacy and explained my situation and they couldn’t of been more helpful, or kind. I believe I spoke with a woman named Jennifer and let me tell you that woman is a saint. The Employees here and at Weis 71 are just the best, great human beings.

This location for Weis on White Street is the only store that goes out of their way to help you, I was there this morning and I like those haddock fish bars , the other stores refuse to sell me one bar, they want me to buy an entire box, which is $44.00 , what in the heck would I do with all that fish, I am a party of one, the other stores are too lazy to break them down. I was also in need of a tomato, the kind I wanted was sold out, the young man in the produce department said wait a minute and went in the back and brought out a whole box for me to choose from, I say kudos to their service!

Zero stars if that was an option! So currently, COVID-19 is going on and is targeting the Asian communities out there. This location is known to discriminate against Asian people so unless you want to be treated like sh*t, don't come here. Today, my mother went into the store then walked right back out. Workers started giving her dirty looks then when she went to go check out, another worker stares her down and rudely tells her to step back even though she was standing BEHIND the blue line. This location is filled with rude, hateful workers and it shouldn't be tolerated. Little did these people know that my mother is working at the hospital and risking her LIFE trying to help you people. The least you can do is give her some respect! Weis should really enforce their workers to be nice to their customers to avoid any future lawsuits involving discrimination!

I don't usually frequent Weis because I prefer Giant but I always hit up this particular location after stopping at the Post Office. It's a convenient location. I do like that they have some options that Giant doesn't have (some Devour products). I think the items at Weis are priced well but there is just a more modern feel to Giant. The store is very clean. I wouldn't say that there is anything really memorable about this location, but there is also nothing wrong with it either. I think it's probably difficult for them because they are a little out of the way/off the main road. There are some other things in this section but probably don't pull a lot of people like the Giant location near the Panera Bread.

My favorite grocery store in York. They have what I need and more. The pharmacy is handy, too. It's a very clean store for being in the city! I just wish the meat department had more choices.
