Garbage. They won't set up follow up appointments that's something you gotta do yourself. If you run out of medication you cannot get a refill without being seen. Which is great if you take life sustaining medications. I see a lawsuit in the near future

This place has gone downhill quickly. I've been without a medication for a week and a half now and they won't respond to me about a prior auth. I'm not sure how such simple things are so complicated...

Absolutely horrendous place to try and receive care. Lack of acumen and basic skills. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. I have had chronic pain for over two years and I had only had my stress exacerbated every time I try and get this office to do anything care related. please save yourself and do not choose to go here for services.

Let me just say I filed a formal complaint Kelly unprofessionalism was astonishingly horrible!
Her lack of empathy and inconsideration for my time .. never seen it before …
Her condescending and discriminatory behavior towards me literally left me in tears when I got home.
I do not trust these people with my children and I health care and will NEVER return to this facility.

They have a pill for everything. Simple requests are difficult. Scheduling requires multiple calls back and forth for some reason. List goes on.

Stay away from UPMC! They have predatory practices. My daughter went to them for a yearly physical in March of 2022. The nurse practitioner, Sharon Knaub, coded the visit as an office visit (which my insurance won't cover) instead of a physical because she mentioned that she suffered from anxiety and acne. When I called to find out why they did this, I was told because she had complaints it was not considered to be a simple physical. Eventually, they did change the coding to a physical as a "courtesy." In July (after we had fulfilled our $6000 deductible - my son gets Medicaid because of ADD so all of his expensive meds fulfilled it) my daughter had an office visit to discuss her anxiety medication. During the visit, my daughter mentioned her periods were very irregular. Then Sharon told her if that continued she would need to start getting yearly gyn exams. Her periods continued to be irregular, so I made the appointment in January 2023 specifically asking for a yearly gyn exam. Sharon came into the room, asked my daughter why she was there, Sharon then told my daughter some people have irregular periods. Since my daughter is still a virgin Sharon said a pap smear and exam were unnecessary and she left. Sharon coded the visit as an office visit, which my insurance won't pay for, so UPMC expects me to pay them $150 for 5 minutes of time. My daughter could have been told the same thing during her yearly physical and we would have been spared wasting a lot of time, aggravation, and money. This shows that UPMC is a predatory organization. making patients come in under false pretenses and then charging them a lot of money. When I called to find out why the visit had been coded as an office visit, I was told nothing was in Sharon's notes about coming in if my daughter continued to have irregular periods. Well, I was in the room at the time and I certainly would't lie about something so stupid. Gyn exams are uncomfortable and I have no reason to subject my daughter to something like that if Sharon hadn't recommended it. I told the billing department I refused to pay, they could send me to collections, that my house is paid for and I have plenty of money to pay with cash for anything I need. The problem is, this will go on my daughter's credit report. My daughter is submitting a complaint to our insurance company. If that doesn't get us anywhere my entire family will leave UPMC and find doctors with their competitor, Wellspan.

My husband and I never complain we always try to see the positive in things but this was the second time this happened to him with the same person. We went in for an appointment it was a follow up and the front desk person was very rude telling him to put his mask up over his nose he had a mask on but it’s hard for him to breathe with it on his nose so he always puts it just under but in the meantime the lady sitting beside her had her mask totally off. It’s just a shame how things have changed I’ve been coming there 20+ years and the practice has changed so much. I have known nurses in there that have been there for 20+ years and are very very nice I just think if you’re gonna be In the front checking people and you should have a little more respect for people that have underlying conditions with wearing a mask like I said especially with the person sitting beside her had hers off!! If my husband didn’t have to see the doctor he would’ve left the facility and never gone back, I totally understand everyone has stressors going on in their life especially these days but just have a little more respect and talk to people with kindness it’s all in the tone.

I have been a patient with this practice for over 20 years now. I liked my previous doctors and like my current doctor, who is Dr. Murudkar. However, for reasons that have nothing to do with my doctors, I now have to give this practice a one-star review. I lost several hundred dollars because of a mistake caused by the manager at their billing office.Let me explain: My insurance covers an annual physical with bloodwork. I have been receiving this physical every year for over 20 years with no problems and no payment needed out-of-pocket—until last year. As usual, my doctor ordered a bloodwork for my annual physical, and I had it done at the Wellspan lab I have always used on 9/15/21. Then, a few weeks later, I received a bill from Wellspan for this bloodwork despite it being covered by my insurance. When I contacted my insurance provider for clarification, they explained that it was because the billing office for this practice had made a mistake: Even though I am a healthy person with literally no illnesses or underlying conditions, my bloodwork had been incorrectly submitted using the billing code for an illness diagnostic rather than the one for my annual screeningI immediately contacted this practice’s billing office and talked to the billing manager Ashley. At first, she seemed helpful and reassured me that she would resubmit the correct code to Wellspan to refile. I waited for several weeks, but nothing happened with my bill. I then contacted the UPMC Patient Portal to resolve this matter, and they put me in contact with Ashley again. I asked her to correct the billing code and to keep me updated on her progress. Between November of 2021 and July of 2022, I messaged her about this over 40 times—and it was all in vain. The billing mistake remains uncorrected over 11 months later. Ashley has tried to deflect the blame for this situation to Wellspan; however, I have incontrovertible evidence that this is not the case. My accounts with Wellspan and my insurance showed that Wellspan filed the same claim for the 9/15/21 bloodwork three times on 9/24/2021, 2/4/2022, and 5/27/22. The reason my insurance had not paid for the bloodwork is because, in all three cases, Ashley used the incorrect codes for an illness diagnostic rather than the correct one for an annual screening. I then went to see Dr. Murudkar in June of this year and asked her if she could help me with this situation. She did; she actually went so far as to correct the billing code herself. Nevertheless, Wellspan said that it’s now too late: Having already filed the same claim three times with the incorrect diagnostic codes provided by Ashley, they can’t refile it a fourth time.Because this entire process went on for 11 months, I ultimately had to pay for the bill out of my own pocket, which is extremely unfair as it would be covered by my insurance if it was billed correctly. What upsets me most about this situation isn’t the money I lost, which was a few hundred dollars; rather, it’s the indifference and carelessness with which I was treated by the billing manager, and is the reason I’ve given this practice one star.

Shouldn't take 72 hours to get an answer or a prescription. Now I have to wait until Monday. I see how much you care about my health. I called three times today and still didn't get a call back. ABSOLUTELY Pathetic

staff is unhelpful almost impossible to see a Doctor, just a "provider" is possible. Phone waits are 15 min long. Medicine gets sent to the wrong pharmacy's. Was way better when it was partners in family health.

The staff in this facility is extremely rude and unwilling to help patients. If you try to call them, they put you on hold for a very long time, and finally when it is your turn to report your issue or ask a question, the staff member always sounds impatient and tries to brush you off. I would give them zero star if I could.

I've been a patient since before UPMC came along and I'll stay there until they kick me out or I kick the bucket. Efficient, kind, professional and helpful.
