I was in the store for 25 minutes with no help. Only time an associate came up to me was 3 minutes before closing letting me know they were closing. I spent all that time trying to find my correct color for foundation on a new brand. Hoping I picked the right one because I have no clue! Not even a “welcome to Ulta” when walking in. No manager even engaging with customers one walked past me in bright pink 3 times. A color match would’ve been nice. Clearly this is a daily issue and just “sending a message” to the managers isn’t enough.

Ulta is amazing. The staff is not very approachable tho. Im always afraid to ask questions because the women look at each other and laugh seemingly at the customer. Maybe im overly sensitive but I don't like being made to feel some type of way. I would give 5 stars but with the staff I just cant

I'm not happy at all. This is why I never do my eyebrows. I should have left them nice, thick and hairy

I had the pleasure of having Donald D. style my hair, he was professional, yet very charming and easy to banter on with good conversations. I enjoyed his calm demeanor and I'm so pleased with having gone here and look forward to seeing him again.

I’ve been a diamond customer for years. Never again. Your sales are scams. I’ll order items for in store pickup, get a notification the NEXT DAY, that your “inventory flew off the shelf” and the item is back to full price. Had you notified me timely of the low inventory, I could have placed my order for delivery where i would have received the same sale price. It really does seem like a scam to advertise great sales that aren’t honored. Your customer service department is a joke. Their over utilization of the word “transparent” is laughable. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they are too busy and will call me back in 24-48 hours. That’s not customer service it’s customer inconvenience. My one star review is generous.

If I could put zero stars I would. Their customer service is terrible. They do not have a clear understanding of how to apply makeup to ethnic/black people's faces. No communication about delays. It took me setting up the ring light, sponges, applicators, tissue box and getting a trash can for my makeup application session. The store did not inform the makeup artist until 830 am the day of my appointment, which was at 11am that she had an appointment. I asked before booking if they were familiar with black faces and I was told yes. There were no color matching options ready when we got there. I was the one who went on the floor to look for a color to match my mom. Didn't even bother to look for makeup for myself to match, thankfully I brought my own. I am so disappointed with the experience and will never be coming back. Employees are too busy laughing and gossiping amongst each other to care. Terrible experience for my mom and myself. My makeup artist was kind and tried to make up for the terrible experience, but it was too late. I was not satisfied at all with either of our makeup. Never coming back here again. I would rather drive 45 minutes to Lancaster Sephora.

I went to Ulta March 2025 and there were 2 employees that I had strange encounters with. They were both unprofessional and disrespectful to me, their customer. Not sure what was going on that day. I love the products that Ulta offers, but that day, I left and purchased what I needed online.

I made an appointment for full highlights and a hair cut. I have to say I was extremely nervous/terrifed as I have had some terrible experiences at other places in the past; I went out on a wing & decided to give someone else a chance. My appointment was with Donald. I literally CANNOT say enough POSITIVE & AMAZING THINGS about my experience today. I have never had someone take the time to really HEAR my needs and my prior concerns and really CARE the way that he did. I felt so heard and validated today. After it was all done and finished I HANDS DOWN can say this is the best my hair has EVER looked. The way he SLAYED my hair and has my highlights looking so beautifully, AND my haircut is AMAZING. I feel phenomenal and my hair looks so gorgeous. I found my forever stylist. Thank you Ulta for having him & don’t ever let him go - you have one TALENTED amazing soul working for you. I’ll be back for sure! 10/10 recommend!
