As a spooky bae, I needed a place like this, even if I have to drive to my neighboring county to get to it. They're the kindest, gentlest folks and top notch weirdos. The shop is curated and creepy. Their events are awesome and so well organized. Thanks for bringing joy to this dead heart.

Really cool place with unique specialty art ? Stopped in during the event Fang Around the Cauldron and there was plenty to look at from different artists and everyone seemed kind and having fun!

If you're in to the Macabre, Spooky and even Vintage, I'd highly recommend visiting this wonderful store. It's a quirky lil place with a store on the first level and an art exhibit in the upper level. My wife and I bought a few trinkets for our collection and I personally love the place. So if you're in to Spooky Scary Skeletons, this shop is a must see.

My daughter and I stopped in today to check out our latest discovery, in our search for the odd & obscure, and we were not disappointed in the least.. 2 floors of the odd, strange, and downright weird. Just what we were looking for. Items were priced appropriately, with something for all tastes and pocket depths.. not to mention the rear access to the open air courtyard, offering drinks and food stuffs.With hours varying day to day. Be sure to check their website out for details on when they're open.. be sure to check out the neighboring shops as well..

Really cool place! I won't lie I'm super into this kind of stuff, but my GF is and she loves it! I can appreciate the art and taste myself even though its not my cup of tea. The vibe there is exactly what you would want out of a place called the Dark Parlour. The owner of the store was really nice as well and even invited us to an event she was hosting! If oddities is your thing this is absolutely a spot you need to check out.

I love the Dark Parlour. I've always been a fan of oddities and obscura and they fit the bill to a T. I attend every major event they host and they are incredibly welcoming to everyone.

New to the area! Saw this place from the corner of my eye, nearly missed it while walking down duke and king. Never felt more at home! Incredible art and THINGS!! And really friendly and cool people/person working lol Cant wait to go back!

I have always hoped to visit their events, but they seem so inaccessible. Every time they have a street fair, they block off the accessible parking and will not return my emails asking where to park. I have felt very excluded from them, and their activities.

We've worked events for The Dark Parlour many times and loved it every time! Nothing but positive energy and acceptance for all types! Regularly hosts local and indie artists, bands, creators - donates to local animal shelters. You won't find a better spot for Spooky and fun goods and events!

I love this store! It’s so great to see it thrive in York, PA. Every time I go there are new and exciting items, art and rooms to explore.Lauren is such an asset to the York Community. Not only is her shop amazing, but the events that she puts on are so much fun!Definitely visit (and don’t be dismayed if they’re closed- they are an independent shop so they don’t have a typical 9-5). Be sure to stop back often!

Such a unique gem in awesome Royal square district in downtown york! Even if it isn’t your “thing”, it is highly worth a trip in! So many cool things to see and makes a great gift stop! The owner works hard to make not only her shop amazing, but the neighborhood, too. She also hosts really cool events so check their pages for those!

Super cool spot for oddities, rare and one of a kind items. The staff is always great, helpful and knowledgeable of all their products. Plus, Lauren does an awesome job curating the space and keeping a consistent flow of new products coming in. When you make it in, make sure to ask about their art gallery upstairs, it's one of my favorite rooms to peruse in royal square!

This is one of my favorite places in York to visit. If you are looking for The Macabre, The Odd, The Silly, and a truly wonderful place to visit, this is the place for you!! Everything from teeth to vertebrate; from creepy to beautiful. This isn’t only an amazing oddities and occult shoppe, but holds one of the best galleries for local artists in the whole arts district. I look forward to every weekly visit, because I know I’m going to see something new!! This is a must see in York!
