Was told by employee extreme bond would adhere to my wall type, gave it a full 24 hours to cure before applying first coat of color with an additional 24 hours before final coat of color. Taped out the trim with frog tape delicate to ensure no issues and yet it still peeled right off the walls this is the last time I will ever purchase paint at this store especially with the prices I was charged for “extreme bond” primer I am so irritated right now with the amount of time and money I just wasted using this product

ELEANOR IS THE GREATEST!! She supplied my boyfriend & I with the best resources & suggestions! She made the painting process less stressful & more of an enjoyable!!! She is such a sweet women who genuinely seems to love helping people!! 10/10 Eleanor will be my go to for all of my painting needs, give that girl a raise!!!!!!!!

The employees were rude and inpatient during my visit today. Fussing about corporate making them do inventory while customers are purchasing products. Too rude to answer questions. The one employee stated that she needed to get back to doing what she was doing. I thought assisting customers was her job. Spending $87 on a can of paint I should be able to ask questions. If my painters weren't coming tomorrow I would have left without purchasing anything.

Called and spoke to Eleanor and asked if she could mix a sample, I would be there in five minutes. She was very unpleasant to talk to on the phone and told me “no just come in”.
I had a 1 year old and a puppy in the car and couldn’t just come in and hang out while they mixed the sample. I needed to order $1000+ worth of paint based off of that sample, my business will be going somewhere else.

Everyone at Sherwin Williams West York store was professional, kind and friendly. They gave me recommendations and time to make decisions. I would highly recommend you use their store and products!

The staff here is unconcerned about customers. I waited 20 minutes for help none even acknowledged that I was there. There were 3 employees - 1 on the computer - 1 on the phone and the third mixing paint . Not a very good experience ... will however try another Sherwood Williams store.

Awful. Paint lid not properly closed, paint leaked everywhere and took a over an hour to clean up. They won’t do what’s right because it happened inside my house. They argued that since I set the can on it’s side, it is my fault it leaked. The cans were loaded in a box sideways like they usually load them, after taking one can out (I bought 3) I carried the other 2 into the house with the opening to the box straight up. They’ve had similar circumstances in the past. They know this is an issue and yet they still use these boxes. They offered to replace the one can that leaked. I asked for the 40% contractor discount to make up for the inconvenience. They declined. I have spent over $1000 over the years on their paint. No more. They lost a customer today. Hope it was worth it.

Called in the morning, Mike put me hold for a few minutes until the call was dropped. Called right back and after apologizing was put on hold again. After a few minutes, I hung up and would call back later. Called in the afternoon and got a woman who I didn’t get her name. I asked if I gave her the information off an old label of SW paint could they mix more of that color. She wanted the date of purchase. Tried to explain it was not purchased at that store and the labeled paint can was left in the garage of house my girlfriend had purchased. Explained again, I have the name and number of the color, 6255 Morning Fog, can you mix me that color? Without date of purchase, now she wants the name of the original purchaser. Um, I don’t know and not sure why it matters but I give her girlfriends last name and explain AGAIN, “she didn’t buy the paint and whoever did, didn’t buy it in York”. She looks up the name. Of course it isn’t in “her system”. One more try, “there is no way of looking up 6255 Morning Fog?”. She says, “I don’t have the label in front of me, it’s not that simple”. At that point I tell herI am going to try another store and see if I have better luck.I called another store and asked if they could mix a gallon from the number and name. “Absolutely, what do you got?”. I was off the phone in less than two minutes and my paint was ready and on the counter when I came to pick it up.Good example of how two stores with the same product can be completely different.

Poor customer service, serm miserable to help me. Not friendly. Didn't call me to tell me my stain was in after I went in and requested it, giving them my name and number. They said they forgot.....I guess they were to busy. Not impressed for the amount I paid for product. I'll go to Lowes next time and pay less.
