Do not go to the Salvation Army store it’s unbelievably too expensive- and this is a thrift store 200.00 for winter jacket that you could buy new at Gabe’s - and the service at the cash register is lousy when the women would not answer my question

Came because the gas company send me there fist I had to wait 45 minutes until someone finally came very rude I was with other 4 lady’s waiting a blonde lady answer very rude you have an appointment? We are close I was trying to explain that every time I call nobody answer and the answer machine you leave a voicemail and you never receive a call back. Literally the lady shut the door in my face without letting me finish. What a horrible customer service this office is supposed to help people not to treat people like dirt. Please make sure you change the personnel because shutting the door in my face was not professional

Totally left in the dark by the salvation army. After a house fire we contacted the Salvation Army. We were given vouchers for clothing and furnished. Due to covid, renovations took about 11 months to complete. I told the case worker about this and they told me the vouchers never expire and I should be able to use them anytime. I went into the salvation army and picked out everything me and the kids needed and they said we can't accept this. I'm thinking, let me just give the case worker a call to clear things up... nothing... after a month, I got a response saying it's expired and they can't do anything to fix it. I forwarded them the messages saying it doesn't expire and no response. I donated to salvation army for years for nothing..

I was so disappointed after driving here only to find out they have an abundance of kids clothes but could not receive one for my granddaughter. She has no winter coat but they didn’t seem to care. I didn’t know I had to have proof of my social security when I began looking for a coat today. I’m just so taken aback.
