Customer service is not the best. Their system had a terrible mess up and I was getting called every other day claiming that I didn’t pay bills which I paid. I’ve never been once late. And they’re literally on the phone saying wow that’s not true you didn’t pay so so and so but yeah, I have proof on my side. Eventually they work their system out to show that all my payments were on time and at that they were all early and they had to put their foot in their mouth This is a terrible experience and I will never do this again I am paying off this laptop, and I will never buy anything from this company again.

The worst people to rent from u owe a week they act like u owe them a month it even got that far that the management even ask me didn't u get paid today very personal had i got paid i would of paid y'all and they want people to rent from them i am so disgusted with there service never again

Bought a used bunk bed overpriced. Didn't walk out of the store and noticed it was too small for my kids yet wasn't allowed to switch it. There's nothing i can do, and it's just sitting there at home now without assembly. furniture and Jeff is the worst at helping resolve anything to help customers.

Didn’t have my things delivered and then Jeff, the manager told me that I had to reschedule for them to deliver my washer and dryer so I got upset and hung up the phone. He didn’t even call back or send me a text horrible experience they told me. My washer and dryer was going to be delivered from 1 to 3 and it was 5 o’clock and my things still wasn’t delivered.

Honestly, this was my first and probably last time ever using Rent-A-Center. I recently moved into a rental where appliances weren't provided. I had found a refrigerator and stove on Facebook market and those have been working like a DREAM. For a washer and dryer I was more nervous getting those bought second hand so I decided to go to Rent-A-Center. After searching through what they had and really debating if I wanted to go through them, decided to take the leap! I asked my sons father if he could help out and he had no problem doing so. This whole ordeal though has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. They were suppose to be delivered but couldn't one time because of rain. Okay I get it. Reschedule, take two, when they stopped by I was upstairs and never heard anyone knock ever. Only knew they came because they left a sorry we missed you slip. Okay. My mistake I guess but I know I never ever heard a knock. Mind you, I work nights and stayed awake during the entire quoted arrival time (small detail that is important later) Third time I was not messing around and sat by the door. They show up (April 9th) I showed them where they were suppose to go (in the basement) etc. I was upstairs unpacking boxes when a guy came upstairs and said it was all set up and ready to go, YAY! But then he said that the cord for the dryer needed to be bought and to send them a receipt of purchase to get our money back..... They were suppose to be brand new sets as far as I knew.... But okay... I can handle buying a cord I guess. They hooked up the washer and although the sets were suppose to be brand new, there were huge dents and scratches in them. I was grateful to just have sets. Until I went down later to the basement floor having a huge water puddle. I didn't know what to do and turned the water off. Later a family member stopped by (since I was at work) and found that there was no gasket in the hose so it was leaking everywhere. Super stressed and just overall upset. I told my sons father about the issues and he said he would reach out since the sets were suppose to be brand new and ask them to exchange them out since he was upset that they were damaged and just the whole ordeal not working. He was told that when they deliver sets they aren't suppose to set them up so the water leaking issue shouldn't have happened and that it would be some time before they could get another new set. Fine. Okay. I decided to just deal with it since I could care less about the looks as long as I could do my wash. Bought the cord ($28.98) and had a friend help me hook it up. Well a bolt was missing and he mentioned how dented it was and how it looks like the previous cord was pulled out improperly. Back to the store to buy a nut/bolt or whatever to make it work. Set it up and the dryer turns on! Yay! Also had a friend fix the hoses for the washer and finally got to run a wash after a month and a half of these sets just sitting (and being paid for mind you) only to then have the washer leaking from the bottom all over the floor again. I'm crying and beyond frustrated at this point. My sons father is reaching out constantly previously and finally he's had enough. Finally Rent- A-Center calls and says they have a set and will be delivering on June 7th anywhere between 10 am and 5 pm. I worked a 12 hour shift prior at the hospital and stayed awake the entire time waiting for them to deliver ONLY FOR THEM TO NEVER COME. No call. NOTHING. I'm done. This is absolutely ridiculous. So many hoops I've had to jump through just for a washer and dryer set that was never as promised, beat up, never worked right and just horrible service help to get this solved, I wish at this point, I would have just bought sets off of somewhere else. As a single mother of three kids, working full time, and just wanting to do some laundry for the past two months, I'm done. Save yourself time and go somewhere else. I've never left a review for a place before but I have to this time. It's been such a horrible experience.

Was to deliver furniture, but never came. I even called before my appointment time to confirm. No call to say they can’t deliver or will be late. Just a sitting here while my boyfriend kindly waits to let them in as I was unavailable. A call would have been nice.Amendment: the store took very good care in fixing the issue. Their staff was always friendly on the phone and very appreciative of my business.
