“We’ve always used Emery Oil and we were a bit bummed to hear they were bought out by another company fearing they lost their small family feel.Months back after Shipley acquired Emery, we had a new air conditioner and heat pump installed as our primary heat with oil as our emergency heat. We switched to will call service knowing we wouldn’t need oil this year with our new heat pump. Much to our surprise, we received a $300 oil bill in the mail this week. It turns out, our account was never switched off automatic service as requested.Without any plans to buy oil this year- this was a cause for concern. This could cause anybody to panic, but not when you hear Maria’s reassuring voice on the other side of the phone. She took ownership from the beginning, set proper expectations on follow up and her confidence in the company she works for gave me the confidence I needed to know this is the type of company I want to continue doing business with and they put their customers first and doing the right thing.I never once felt as though I needed to request to speak to a manager as I knew and felt I was well taken care of with Maria. Her customer service skills were second to none.
