Neither dog minds going here & getting their bath or nails groomed. Both dogs are normally anxious but the staff puts them at ease. Love how the female dog will come home with a pretty bow on her collar after being bathed - Pretty girl!

2519 S Queen St, YorkHighly recommend! I’ve been taking my 4 year old Mini Golden Doodle here for nail trims for probably about a year and a half now and my 1 year old puppy for about 6 months now. My puppy is very temperamental with getting groomed and has gone as far as trying to bite them and they never once got mad at him. They do an amazing job with grooming them. I’m very specific about how I like them to look and they always do noting short of an amazing job! Prices are very reasonable and all staff are very pleasant and trustworthy to be around! They also explain why they might have to do something different as far as cutting them. My dogs do get matted pretty quickly and they always take their time to brush every mat they can out! Would recommend to anyone looking for a very trustworthy place to get ur dog groomed!

He took to her right from his first visit, which included one of his favorite things, a long relaxing bath.Jazz had his second appt scheduled, but his health took a downturn, and he was going to be put to sleep. Barb agreed to move up his appt so he could have a spa bath, a fluff, and a trim.He was a happy, relaxed dog indeed, and I will always remember how content he looked when I picked him up from Trudy's ❤️

The staff was welcoming, efficient and pleasant. Vet was thorough and knowledgeable. Cost was reasonable at <$150 & my kitty got examined, Vaccinated and given shot/ meds for allergies. Hill Street is my new Vet care home! Very pleased with their care.

Happy employees who know how to handle a nervous dog and no problems giving a shot and exam. Appointments were booked out to september but they have emergencies from 8-9 and then walk-ins from 9-11, first come first serve. They monitor the parking lot and you can just call or text them to let them know you're waiting. I believe they allow 4 pets in the waiting room to slow for space to avoid conflict. The rest can wait in their vehicle. Very convenient, very positive, and very professional.

I first went to a place in Shrewsbury as it is closer to my home but was told there was an 8-10 hr wait and if I left would lose my place in line all while there was not another soul in the waiting area and I was holding my dog who had a bad allergic reaction to a shot. I promptly went to the center in York where they told me on the phone I could drop off my dog if the wait was too long. I got there and they took Titus right back and took care of him. The doctor and staff were so kind and pleasant. This will always be my first stop!

I usually make sure that she gets an extra playtime daily to burn off her energy because she can be a challenge to walk and has a very high prey drive. Food was bar food style - we had the burger with Gouda (Gooey Gouda Burger) and cheese curds and tried several beers out of the thirty they had on tap. Shayne was our sever and what a great young man. Awesome personality and efficient. Checked on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. We had four different beers from different breweries around the country and I ended my evening with a pumpkin spice martini (Holy cow! DELICIOUS!) over all - fantastic bar experience! Casual dining and casual attire required. Definitely would visit here again!

2519 Mt Rose Ave, YorkMy wife and I stopped for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were seated upstairs. The ambiance was inviting - upscale, but not "stuffy". Our waiter, Teddy, was exceptional! He was attentive, knew the menu thoroughly and took time to answer our questions on specific dishes. The bar service was excellent as well. Eagles Nest has a creative drink menu and we were very happy with our cocktails. The food was very good. There was a nice selection of starter courses from which to choose. We chose a Mediterranean style cheese that was flambeed table-side. For entrees, my wife enjoyed the chicken parmesan and I had the sirloin medallions over pilaf with crab cake. We topped things off with a slice of Tres-Leches cake which was light and delicious. All our selections were prepared and plated well. I felt the check was very reasonable considering our delightful experience.

106 N George St, YorkA casual night out with the girls before the holiday. This place came recommended so I made a reservation which was easy to do via their website. Off street parking is available and there is also a garage nearby. I'm sure it can get pretty packed during the summer months. The interior is nice, like the decor and it was clean and in order. They even had a nice holiday decorations out. Our attendant for the evening was a nice young lady who provided good service and made helpful recommendations. I went with the French75 (whiskey instead of gin) and had the Caesar salad with shrimp added. I was also able to try the crab dip and french fries. The cocktail was great, F75 may be in my rotation now! The food came out hot and I enjoyed the flavor of everything ordered. Would consider visiting again in the future.

Brougher Companion Animal Shelter - York County SPCA
3159 N Susquehanna Trail, YorkAdopting our new family member was an amazing experience! We applied quickly online after going in during normal visiting hours to view available dogs and doing some research on the dogs on their website. We noticed how clean the shelter was and how the staff clearly cared for the animals. We also saw dogs being walked by volunteers, playing in outdoor kennelsand being given treats. We received a call within a day or so to review the application, discuss the dog and to make sure he was a fit for the family. A meeting was scheduled a few days out so that all family members could meet the dog. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Although the shelter was extremely busy that day, we interacted with several professional and knowledgeable employees and volunteers who helped us with the meeting, reviewing med information, completing paperwork, and taking pictures. It was such a smooth process and all of the employees and volunteers were absolutely wonderful and provided helpful tips for the first few days and months after adoption. After we got home, we more carefully reviewed the dogs history and medical record and noticed the extraordinary veterinary care he received during his 3 month stay at the shelter. Kudos to the YSPCA for all of the work they do with the animals to keep them well taken care of, getting them ready for adoption and working with adopters.
