Rude when i called asking for boarding pricing, i didn’t call during business hours apparently but honestly thought i could just leave a voicemail and someone would get back to me. I won’t consider this kennel in the future.

We will never use this place again. The owner is rude and condescending. Former game warden who doesn't like animals and only in it for the money. Takes cash or check only. Something is not right about that. Our dogs were not taken care of properly at all.Our senior dog had clumps of his hair falling out which is not normal. Just because the place is extremely clean doesn't mean your dog will be cared for. Would not recommend.

Owner (Chuck) is rude, forgetful and disrespectful. He gets dates/reservations mixed up and then wants to call and raise his voice to my wife…. No you don’t!Even though we would have gone back for simple convenience, but not after you were rude and ignorant again today.I will never use your kennel again!!

Asked if we could change our reservation. He said yes. He wrote down the new reservation and told us how much it would be. When we showed up to pick up our dog we were told we were early and that we weren’t expected to pick up until tomorrow (which was our original reservation that we changed). We reminded him that we discussed changing it with him and that he told us that we could. He had no recollection of it and became defensive and quickly whipped open a pamphlet and showed us where it said “if you pick up your dog early you still have to pay for the full reservation” we again reminded him that he allowed us to reschedule our reservation but he became even more argumentative. It was only 30 dollars for the extra day(no big deal) but I was not at all happy about the way he acted. He needs to have a system for confirming dates even if it’s a simple email. We won’t be back. He made 290 dollars from us instead of 260. He just lost a customer over 30 dollars

I boarded my 2 cats there recently. The owner was very friendly and helpful. My cats get car sick and he washed their blanket and crate. The facility is on a beautiful property and very well maintained. It couldn’t be any cleaner. I was pleased with my service and would feel comfortable taking my cats back there.

Chuck allowed me to take an impromptu tour of the kennel without hesitation. That was the first indicator of an A+ kennel. I know my dog will be safe and cared for while we are away. Chuck makes our 11 year old Cane Corso’s stay as comfortable as possible providing rubber mats in Ace’s kennel so he can get up and move around easier. It’s not easy for him to move around at 11 yrs old.

We had visited Millstones Kennels and wouldn't go anywhere else. Clean with friendly staff and they took care of my German Shepherd

I was timid to bring my dog to a kennel, but Millstone came highly recommended by my mom and aunt, both of whom spoil their dogs. My dog is rambunctious, young, and pretty much a cinder block on ice skates. However, he is also pretty afraid of men due to his rescue situation. Chuck, the owner, took time to get to know our pup and gave him a great environment in which to play and feel safe. We recently sent him to a different, more conveniently located kennel, but when we got him back he had stress marks all over his face. We decided to take him back to Millstone (we call it Camp Chuck) and when we got him back he was as happy as ever with not a single mark on him. It’s worth it to drive all the way from Baltimore to York for the piece of mind Millstone provides.

I can't say enough great things about Millstone. I would give them a 10 if possible. I have left my dogs there many times in the past 19 years. I always feel comfortable knowing that my Sydney is in very excellent care!
