I can't say enough good things about Dana. Beautiful shop, beautiful soul. So relaxing, and a cut that is intended to be low maintenance made my life much easier. I'm so much happier with my hair more of the time. Dana has helped me embrace my natural graying hair.

I had a great experience with Dana at Meta! I went in for a cut and she went above and beyond, taking time to ensure it was exactly what I was looking for. Plus, she offered lots of personalized advice on how to improve my haircare routine at home moving forward. Highly recommend!

Been going to Dana for years on and off and always come back to her. She only does haircuts now but she’s the best! Had her cut my hair short this summer and I’m never going back, love it! ?

Went here for about two years. Dana's cuts were often inconsistent... some days good and some days not so good. I'm an older client (50's), but like modern cuts. Dana never seemed very interested in offering suggestions, and seemed more interested in promoting herself on social media and regularly increasing her prices than cutting my hair. She was always rather reserved, during our sessions and not very personable. I stopped going to Dana shortly after canceling an appt (on her end). She texted me, just before an appt, telling me she'd cut her hand and needed medical attention. Of course, I had no problem with this and wished her well. A few days later, she texted me to reschedule. On the day of my rescheduled appt, I walked to her salon (very close to my home) and the salon was closed. It was a very hot summer day and because I was just going down the street, left my phone at home. I sat for about 20 minutes, figuring I was her last appt for the day and maybe she ran out for a moment. I didn't want to leave to grab my phone, because I was worried she'd show up, not see me and immediately leave. Eventually, I returned home and immediately texted her. She did not respond. The following day, I reached out to one of the other stylists at her salon, as I was very concerned. He seemed surprised and told me he'd reach out to her to see what was up. Within minutes, Dana texted me and gave me a new time to come in... No apology for the missed appt, and no apology for not responding to my texts. I rescheduled the appt, but intentionally did not show up and never went back again.

I was a bit nervous going in for a completely new style. As soon as Dana arrived, she and I talked about the style I was looking at. A Jamie Lee Curtis type of cut. Within seconds, we were happily chatting as she cut a way all of my doubts about this style. After she was finished, for the first time in many years, I was extremely happy with my new look. Love this salon!! The intimate atmosphere allows for a relaxed environment. The staff is supper friendly. David Groupe does my hair he’s the best!! Always happy with my hair color! I have fine hair and it can be hard to find a stylist that can cut it properly. David does a great job!! Highly recommend him!!Services: Hair coloring

Bang Trims for "new Clients only" Don't waste your time with such horrendous services.. Glad you can push away existing customers so quickly, not a care in the world how long you've been with them. Can't recommend for anything, sorry, they just are bad. Look Elsewhere.

Fabulous hair salon in downtown York. Excellent stylists, calm vibe. Thoughtfully cultivated little gem that feels like a sigh of relief. Great place for an unique cut and a great conversation. Will definitely return!
