You can’t call stores with a simple question. It’s the same number for all stores and that woman Judy but she never calls back and I end up taking my stuff to Salvation Army

Thursday August 3 blonde woman working at the store was outside for 10 minutes on her phone while I stood at register to ring out my items. She finally came in but still on phone and then continued her call for another 5 minutes. When she got off the call I said to her ‘ I’ve been waiting 15 minutes to check out what’s going on here. She then sarcastically said ‘ deal with it’ I had to take that call. I then asked her name and she refused numerous times and then started screaming at me and I asked her to stop as it was embarrassing as other people were inside store. She then grabbed my two items off counter and said I’m not allowing you to buy these. I said for a Christian store this is unacceptable behavior and discriminatory behavior toward me. This woman had blonde hair past her shoulders and torn jeans on. I’ve filed a complaint and left messages at the ministry offices but yet to hear back. Maybe a call to the local news will get someone’s attention!!!!

Their shelves are pretty bare. Because they are putting everything on ebay. It's not even worth going anymore. So I don't. Some of their prices, they act like they are eBay reaching millions of people. It's actually better to go to an antique and vintage shop where prices are actually cheaper. So don't waste your time. It use to be fun going. Now there's nothing there anymore. Sometimes on the tag they will say this is what it sells for on ebay. A thrift store is not ebay. eBay reaches millions of people.

Lifepath is a little more expensive than other thrift stores in the area but they have a nice selection of brands. I was able to find 10 items in my size, 3 of which are new with tags and not up-priced. The store is small, but they have a lot packed in, and their displays are attractive. I didn't care for their shoe selection, it was kind of mixed up and prices were varied for same brand. Handbags were affordable, and the showcase items were displayed nicely. I also went to the clearance center and got a full bag of pants (8 pair rolled tightly) for $25.

Now The prices can be a little steep. But most of the proceeds go to helping the less fortunate in the community. Everything is tested to be in working condition. The clothing is gone over for imperfections more than other places like goodwill. The employees are also amazing. Every lifepath location I've visited has had great friendly people working there.

BEWARE!!LifePath does not serve the community as the York Rescue Mission had in the past.Donate your items somewhere else and give your business to someplace that deserves to be rewarded for their work in the community.

I like coming here to shop for jeans and shirts and the occasional workout pants (as who cares how much you spend on stuff you're just gonna sweat in or get dirty and the name brand won't mean a thing to anyone that isn't superficial).I got 2 long sleeve running shirts and some cycling shorts for $20! Less than the cost of any one of these items brand new individually. Plus the music they have in the store playing is so much more wholesome than having to explain to my child what certain things are if heard over the speakers overhead. They also have their proceeds that they profit over go to local missions...So I usually donate there now instead of goodwill....?

I’ve been a regular here since they opened up. For the entirety of my son’s life, I have bought his clothes here as well as my own. I can’t even afford to buy clothes here any longer. What? Did the cost of donations go up? You have LOST SIGHT of your “mission”. I will no longer be able to afford to donate my money here. Shame on you.

Too high priced for stuff that's donated. My son found an older die-cast toy truck he wanted and it had a $29.99 price tag on it. I thought for sure it was a typo but when I asked them about it they claimed it's because of the name and it was a collectible. I told them it's for a 14 year old kid, not for a collector. I reminded them that this item was donated to them for free and that their prices are ridiculous and I told them I will not be buying anything from them.

Wonderful clean store with a great selection. Prices are sometimes a little high but items are quality. Ladies up front talk too much about political issues and personal opinions ? so they could curb that and it would be a perfect second hand store!
