Booked a shampoo, cut, and style. I did not get a blow out or any style. She attempted a blow out but didn’t know how to do it correctly. My hair was frizzy, unstyled, and still wet when she said we’re done. I asked for it to be fully dried and she blow dried it some more, only for it to still be wet. I gave up and just said it’s good enough.

The new staff is amazing, especially Nick! Stopped in for a haircut and left with a sharp cut and fresh brow wax. He did an amazing job!

Couldn’t even call to cancel my daughter’s appointment. We show up early and told he could do it in an hr when we already have an appointment. Not a care in the world that we didn’t have an hr to wait since that’s why we made the appointment to start with. Manager was rude and wanted to say this is the world we live in. So apparently we live in a world where we can’t have a courtesy call to cancel unbelievable

I called on Saturday 5/4 for a new client appointment (hair cut and partial highlights). I didn’t want to do the online scheduling because I saw previous comments about the online booking not matching up to their actual availability.
The man I spoke to on the phone said there was nothing for today but we can look at Sunday 5/5. He said what about noon? I agreed and he took the necessary information. He finished the call with okay, we will see you tomorrow at 12:00. I was on speaker phone with my husband in the room and immediately put it on the calendar.
Next day, I show up at 12:00 just to be told that my appointment was yesterday at noon, not today. I reiterated that I was told the 5th. He said he couldn’t take me now but could take me later. However, I don’t want to go some place unorganized to get my hair done. I shouldn’t have even attempted this salon after seeing the same comment about appointment scheduling from others. I won’t be returning and will not recommend to others.

I booked an appointment for my daughter’s wash and cut here on a Wednesday for the next Sunday at 12:30. We get there about 20 min before our scheduled appointment knowing we will prob have to wait and there is only 1 man there cutting hair and one person waiting before us. He asks me when my appt was and I told him and he said he can’t accommodate me cause he’s the only there. He said the computer system doesn’t know the schedule to book appointments. My disappointment lies in, why wouldn’t we get a courtesy call then beforehand letting us know of the situation, and why then wouldn’t he even give us the option to wait or book for a little later. He dismissed us completely and I have a very strong feeling (and I do not imply this often at all) it was because my daughter was black. I will not be returning to this establishment at all.

I brought my 12 year old daughter in for a cut and was very happy with the service James provided. He was so knowledgeable and talked her through her hair style and how best to take care of it! Her cut looks great and service was top notch!

the people there were absolutely amazing! great customer service, reasonable pricing, and just overall an amazing experience. probably the best I’ve had yet. 10/10 would recommend and will DEFINITELY be returning

Came in for foils with Carla. Profesional, experienced and a great personality. She did an awesome job and I wasn't a bit nervous, having long hair. I will definitely be back. It's hard to find a stylist like Carla. She gets it and she truly cares about customer satisfaction. Had a great experience. Keep up the great job!! You're awesome!!!

Didn't have an appointment, walked in. Had a wonderful experience. Carla did an excellent job! Got me in quick, and did an amazing job on my haircut! Will definitely be coming back for my next hair cut.

I always loved Holiday Hair on White St. I knew all the girls and trusted most of them to do my hair.
Today, I walked in, and none of my girls were there. I knew Tessia had left. I had a cut and style scheduled with her at 2:30. She didn't have time for highlights today, so I decided to stop somewhere else for those. *NOTE TO EVERYONE* If the place is empty, leave. Just turn right around and walk out.
I decided I'd give them a try anyway. It was all going ok until the stylist dropped bleach on me. It would have been ok if she had explained it wouldn't hurt anything if it was wiped up immediately. That isn't what happened. She did wipe it, but I was still concerned. She told me I signed an agreement (I did sign a chemical agreement I will attach to this review), stating she wasn't responsible for any damaged clothes. I asked for the agreement, and she didn't give it to me. She did get huffy. She told me not to wear clothes that mattered into a salon. I have been having my hair lightened at Holiday Hair since I was in my 20s. I never had an issue with they stylist dropping it on me. I got up from the chair, and there was bleach all over that thing; on the arm, the seat my pants in another spot. She did t even wipe it up. I went into the bathroom, got a paper towel, and cleaned up the chair myself. Her manager came over and said her stylist's only responsibility was my hair and that it is my job to make sure the gown is covering me properly. I asked again for the signed agreement. Thia time she gave it to me. It said nothing about not being responsible for damaged clothes, only chemical reactions that can happen to the hair or skin. Then, the stylist began to complain more about me. The stylist said she was wearing $200 Versace jeans. What was the point of that? Either way, I had foil all over my head. There was a district manager inspecting the place. She asked me if I was happy with my stylist today. I wasn't gonna say anything else until my hair was processed and I was out. The last thing I wanted was messed up hair bc I made this sloppy girl mad. Anyway, I went to Tessia and told her all about it. She checked my hair and found bleeding. But I will wait it out because I will not go back into that salon again!
