Very pleasant and professional. I'm getting the feedback from my wife but compared to Shiloh, this place was very good. Happy employees who know how to handle a nervous dog and no problems giving a shot and exam. Appointments were booked out to september but they have emergencies from 8-9 and then walk-ins from 9-11, first come first serve. They monitor the parking lot and you can just call or text them to let them know you're waiting. I believe they allow 4 pets in the waiting room to slow for space to avoid conflict. The rest can wait in their vehicle. Very convenient, very positive, and very professional.

This place is the best! All of the staff are so nice and caring towards all of my animals. And, they have the open hours appointments in case you don't have time to wait for an appointment.

Dr Alfano and Feroli have been wonderful with both our dog and our cat. They really care, take the time to listen and involve the family in the care. The supported is through some good and bad times. I would recommend them to any family with cats or dogs or both.

Brought my cat in with an emergency this morning We are both wearing masks. You did not have to be rude ripping the carrier out of my arms. My instructions to hold the carrier door was for safety, not to ruin your day

I recently moved back into the area and I was looking for a reasonably priced place to take my dog. My neighbor actually recommended Hill Street Vet and having grown up in the area, Dr. Hartenstein was a name that I'd been aware of forever. My 13 year old pit bull has recently run into some health issues and I'm very glad that I chose this vet. She was coughing a lot and based on my own internet research, I thought she probably had kennel cough. Dr. Feroli did an exam and after listening to her heart, found evidence of a heart murmur which hadn't been heard previously. She recommended a chest xray and it revealed that my dog has a mass in her lung. The next step was bloodwork to see the progression of the cancer or anything else that might be going on. Nothing indicated advanced cancer, but it did indicate some issues with her heart. Now up to this point, every vet would probably recommend the same thing. In my case, Dr. Feroli just put my dog on Lasix to deal with her heart issue. She would have looked further into the lung mass if I'd wanted to, but I don't feel there is any benefit to it and the doctor agreed with me. Yes, we could have biopsied it and got the test results and then what? Chemo? I know people do it for dogs and my thoughts might be different with a younger dog. But even chemo guarantees nothing. Two months later, my dog still coughs and breathes a little rough, and now we have the added incontinence that comes with giving an older dog diuretics, but she's maintaining her weight, eating well, and she has a nice quality of life, which probably would not be the case if we'd pursued a lengthy treatment. I guess I'd say that I appreciate this vet's restraint.
