The only reason I give it three stars, is because I am able to use points that I earn with shopping at the Giant located nearby. It is a great incentive when gas prices are shooting through the roof, to have that 10, or more, cent off your gas purchase.However, Giant Gas has started to tack on an extra $150 (yes, you read that right) when your purchase is in "Pending" mode. It does clear out when the charge goes through, but for those of us with set amount in our bank account, this seriously can mess up a whole heck of a lot of stuff. When we have called up to Giant, they will blame your bank card, however it is definitely not on our bank's end. Even they said that they cannot add that kind of "fee" to those charges, it is definitely something Giant is doing.Please remove this feature, so we can continue to purchase gas without a mini heart attack every time we check the bank account. If this is a measure to protect yourself to make sure people are paying for gas, there are measures you can take that are not preemptive like this that unfairly targets others.

Giant gas station prices were at the state average gas prices. Too high. I did have $1.50 off, so that helped. The area around the station was nice and tidy, no trash on ground.

Giant gas stations are great especially if you shop at giant. Go through the circulars and make sure that you get as many points as possible and it will equate to pennies off at the gas pump. There was one time I had accumulated $1.10 off per gallon after 20 gallons which brought my price down to the low to $2.50… Every cent counts but that is a deal
