I know their intentions were good but there were more people in the store than when I normally go! I spent most of my time dodging people and carts and got very little of what I came in for. Stock the shelves but not when it’s an already crowded store! Not sure there was too much social distancing!

I mean, it's a gas station and they provide gas so that's great. My main problem is that I used my credit card to fill my tank, which came out to under $50.00. However, I am set up to receive text alerts for when a charge exceeding $100 is applied to my card, and voila one came through. Because apparently it is Giants policy to hold $150 (!) on your card!! I get that gas stations put a hold of a certain amount on, but $150 is excessive. I have a large SUV and that's still usually about double what it would take me to fill er up. Won't be stopping here again!

Friendly service. Love Carla. Carla takes pride in maintaining a clean gas station. Carla also knows her customers. Well worth the drive to buy gas.

As a brief opening qualifier, while there are multiple Giant locations in York and while some of them have gas stations on site this is NOT one of those locations. No, this location is technically a stand alone outpost although the store that it's "attached to" is right down East Market Street. Let's do it! Time for the ol' trusty default three star Yelp gas station check list: Good price? Yep, at $1.79 it's better than what I can get my hands on at home but of course who the hell pays that price? If you're coming here more than likely you do your grocery shopping at Giant so with the BonusCard points that you no doubt have been hoarding, you're likely redeeming them for a price that is always lower. For me it was $1.29 so I appreciated going back to somewhere around 2001 if only for a brief minute or two. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? No Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? Sort of. This station is located on East Market Street where there are large medians dividing the road so if you're coming south on Memory Lane you're golden, if you're coming west on East Market Street you're golden and if you're not doing one of those two you're screwed unless you have a thing for homicides. Human intervention needed? No Three star gas station bliss... close enough.
