I tried that Giant Direct today for the first time.Not good.They are there only to sell. And they don't understand what customer service is.I ordered a honey ham on line and went to pick it up.The one lady brought a few bags to the car and said the ham is not available and couldn't give me a different brand but there are some in the store that I could pick up myself.I went inside the store and couldn't find other brands of honey ham, so I walked to the customer service desk and explained that it's fine if they don't have it, but I want them to hold one for me when it comes in even if it's in a week or more and message me when it's in, so I can come get it.We'll, they don't understand that concept. All they want is to sell, not to provide a service.They can send you messages a few times to help pick up the items, but not get you what you really want.I had to drive about an hour to 3 other stores to find it.Not planning to do this Giant Direct again.

This is for the pharmacy. I have never had a bad experience there. I've always had positive transactions. Well they have a fella there named BEN. I've not seen such empathy in a long time. He is pleasant, informative, respectful & more helpful than anyone I've dealt with. I'm truly grateful to have interacted with him. I would give a 10 for him alone. I won't go into details, however, anyone would appreciate him. Thank you BEN for everything you've done.

First time user of their pharmacy and last time. Tom is condescending - rude and not customer friendly at all. I even called their corporate office to complain to them about his behavior and attitude.Showed up right at 9 am and he said ‘aren’t you the early bird’ sarcastically as he flew open his cage gate - this guy is a tool.Trust me even though it’s convenient it’s not worth the rudeness and unprofessional attitude.

Hello, Today @ Giant Food Stores # 6087 I attempted to make a purchase with my Healthy Benefits + card as they are contracted to accept as a form of payment for the disabled thru Aetna Medicare. As you can see from the transaction history I have been able to use these benefits many times with this location on my phone as described in the attached e-mail from Healthy Benefits +, Aetna medicare's contractor. You can also see they are listed as a retail location that is in network. And last but not least you can see that this retailer's own rewards card is in a phone app. However on this day, April 06, 2022 @ the cash register next to the chinese food store Teresa Meeks who has accepted this as a form of payment in the past informed me it was their store's policy not to do so. I had then spoken to a male in front of the customer service desk being identified as the "Store Manager" who told me that they can't scan anything on my phone as it could be malicious code that could invade their systems. At this time I am requesting a reasonable accommodation to the disabled under Section 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act to this new policy of not accepting the payment method Giant Food Stores has contracted to accept from the disabled under medicare to the disabled for Aetna's members as described in this e-mail from Soultran LLC. If Giant Food Stores is not to accept this form of payment Ms. Meeks herself has scanned from my phone in the past their contract with Soultran LLC must be terminated so that they can be replaced as a retailer in this vital health program to the disabled with such few retailers in the neighborhood.

I did not like the service they made me feel super uncomfortable, when you go for self-payment the machines are super slow and even if you put the products in the bag, the machine does not return because I pass an article thinking that I could already scan, because the machines are very slow and The lady came with a lot of attitude telling me that I have to wait for the machine. with a lot of attitude there was no need to speak to me the way she spoke to me.

They had Everything I was looking for on the shelves and if I couldn't find it on the shelves staff happily pointed me where I need to go that's a rare find in Java days to find people happy to do their jobs thank you

Yo the Chinese food that they have in the store is awesome. Always a long line and it moves pretty fast. It's not my normal store I go to but I go for the Chinese food when the wife gives me orders. I swear I'm not whipped I just enjoy eating good Chinese food. Lol. Happy wife happy life!!! Thanks again y'all for the food. Cheers

This pharmacy was literally insane. I’ve called for an entire week because my prescription was first shorted practically an entire week of my medication and then I was told essentially “nothing can be done in regards to a refill or anything until the 1st of the month.” So I go without my meds. Fast forward to the day they’re supposed to be ready and the pharmacy opens... I’m told kinda shortly on the phone that it would be at least an hour and a half until my prescription will be ready, maybe even longer and there’s just nothing that can be done about it. The old pharmacist, Patrick, was absolutely amazing. I have no idea what’s going on in there now, but whoever sounded half rude and super short on the phone, and didn’t seem to care about their customer service in the same manner. Just very disappointing. The service used to be absolutely amazing there.?

Try refilling a prescription online. You can pull up their website but no way to refill prescriptions online.
