Not sure what to say but I would say that they have a long way to go when it comes to customer service! So I called today to find out some pricing to have a small piece of artwork framed, and the man I spoke to not only laughed at me but then went on to say well there are thousands of options and the price could be anywhere from around 180 to hundreds of dollars which is ridiculous for a SMALL painting that is literally 11x14. I was shocked not only at the price but at the condescending customer service I received! I believe I will take my business Elsewhere based upon the horrible experience I had on the phone!! And my guess is this place is just looking to take people for a ride and charge them the most that they can. I had received a quote from another retailer, which I'll leave nameless, and it started around $80 and went through about $350 for the top of the line which seems more reasonable than starting out at $200 for a tiny little frame.... I guess I'm just not in the know but at some point when the frame cost three times what the actual artwork costs for a hand signed piece I'm a bit shocked! But this local York artist deserves respect and framing! But I would think in the future maybe they need to take note of how customers should be treated make them feel welcomed and maybe give them an honest reasonable price and you could get people to come to your store! but starting out by laughing and saying oh there's thousands of options and the price starts around $200 is never going to get you a sale! I've been in customer service my whole life and made millions of dollars selling on eBay and I can tell you I've never once laughed at any of my customers even the ones who spend $10. You don't get rich by being condescending or rude you get rich by offering good customer service and selling a product that people want! unfortunately this is why big box retailers are doing so well and small businesses are closing up left and right! because it only takes one terrible employee to cost you thousands of dollars in sales.... oh well I guess they didn't need my business.

I'm a local artist and have been coming here for years - any time I need a new piece framed for an exhibit or a collector's purchase. Personal service, care, and craftsmanship are excellent. I love coming here and highly recommend them for any framing needs!

I’d I could have left ZERO STARS for my experience I would have. I’ve never left a store feeling as offended as I did today. A woman with silver, short, hair waited on my mother and I. We had a print- approx 14” x 16”. This lady acted like that was an absurd request…..she was more worried about harassing a car that was parked along the curb in front of the store……screaming “I’llHave them tow your AS*” at the topOf her lungs…This was a young mother and her 5 kids-so it appeared the husband left them out at the curb. My mother and I stood around for a good 10 minutes waiting for this woman to come back in the store to help us!! We finally just walked out!! We will take our business to Michaels.

Friendly staff. They have a huge selection of beautiful frames and selected various ones for me to choose from. It is an excellent match with my picture. They had my framework finished ahead of the date I was given. I am well satisfied and will use this business again.

They ARE my framing destination. They're honest, caring, they take the time to walk you through so many details. Julie, Danielle and Ed are all amazing people. I've been going to them for years and EVERY time I pick up my framed art... it feels like getting a tattoo, because I just want them to frame more for me. Give them a visit - you straight-up will not regret it. (Photo attached was originally damaged and Ed recommended me to get it fixed before framing - the photo is the fixed, final product.) Again, HIGHLY recommended.

Pleasant, and surprisingly easy. I received excellent assistance searching for the perfect mat and frame. When they learned this was meant as a gift in a week’s time, a two week expected date turned into a three day turnaround. The finished product was so handsome, the recipient was speechless. I’ll definitely be back.

I had a very old flag framed. Julie was awesome helping pick matting and a frame. She explained the process of how they frame flags as I was concerned because of the age of the flag. This turned out better than I thought it would and it looks amazing. I highly recommend The Framers Workshop of York and I will be using them again.

Wanted to give a big shout to Frank Countess who took the time and effort in investing time in me and with gifting me this beautiful custom fram! From Framers' Workshop York Pa He took his time off his busy schedule and joined me and allowed me to choose my own fram! Don't worry Frank Hanover, PA is not ready on what we have to come! Also big shout out to CGA Law Firm for their amazing lawyers & staff! This also wouldn't of happen if Danny Green wouldn't of introduced me to Frank!
