Pretty rough location. Price is high for what you get for the art classes. Class sizes are around 5-10 kids.

I've been to the gallery portion of Creative York a few times on First Fridays, they have a great selection of local artists and always have new, interesting pieces rotating. Recently I did their Date Night Pottery Wheel Class with a group of girls. It was so fun! There's a learning curve to this but you will get the hang of it over the course of the two hours and be able to produce at least one piece of pottery! You can make however many pieces you want within within two hours, you just have to pay a small additional fee for any additional pottery you want them to fire and glaze (one piece of pottery is included with the class). I would absolutely do this again and will check out the other art classes they offer.

First time tried hands at pottery and it was amazing experience. Great idea for romantic gateway in the hub of York town. Accessible parking and restaurant options within a block. Must experience if you want to try your hands at different hobbies with your better half

My 7 year old daughter took pinch pot class at Creative York 6/15. The teacher was fun, kind, full of great ideas and fully present with the kids. She also made the parents feel welcome. great experience.

Had a wonderful time at Art In Residence 2019. Each year it gets more popular with larger turnouts. New artists each year & as usual I couldn't help but to buy more art.

My daughter went to the 'Clothed Figure Drawing I & II' and the 'Colored Pencil Workshop' classes with instructor Leah Limpert Walt. The instructor is very well versed in her craft and gives good guidance with explanation. My daughter learned a lot in the classes here. The environment is comfortable, most classes provide you with all the art supplies needed, the people are friendly and organized. I would definitely recommend taking a class here.

The first time I went to Amy she did a great job! So I thought what the heck I'll go back ! Not so pleased this time ! With a tip $30 I do expect to get what I ask for. Couple things just didn't sit right with me 1-she said you can fix your bangs do what you do 2- I told her I needed more off and she just went here and there and textured it a bit more . 3- Uses no products at the end to style it ! I had to go home and style my owe hair! 4- I have live in the Pa. for 29 years but my home town is Baltimore Md. And she made terms against my home town which I won't even repeat because it disrespectful and very insulting to me and maybe to others . Also she never says thank you when you leave her a tip which isn't a requirement. I was raised to say thank you for things people out of kindness do. Not good Business. I won't be gone back anymore. People want what they pay for and and would like a level of respect . Just a tip watch what you say! Your are working for the public!

Our family LOVES Creative York. They have beautiful art shows, and they are continually finding new ways to bring in the community. Our kids just finished a summer art camp and loved every day of it. We got to come to their art show at the end of the week and it was such a joy to listen to our girls talk about their art process and ideas. Creative York offers classes for all ages and we are excited to check some of them out!
