Went in too return an item that I bought from here after purchasing a few days before. The woman that “helped” me was very rude and you could tell she was being inconvenienced as soon as I said “return”. I was a repeat customer of this store but definitely won’t be back after my experience today. Customer service has always been absolutely horrible here.

I went to AutoZone because my car was having trouble starting. The guy who checked my battery said it was fine, and I would need a new alternator. After having an actual mechanic look at it, it turns out all I needed was a new battery!! What was a two day nightmare was fixed in under two hours. Absolutely ridiculous!!

This review is specifically for Elijah M from AutoZone at 2496 E Market St, York, PA.
Elijah was so incredibly patient with helping me figure out - and also installing - the windshield wipers on my car. He was incredibly helpful, even in such hot weather. (It took several attempts at installing because several sizes weren't fitting properly.)
As a woman who is 9 months pregnant, I couldn't be more appreciative of him making several trips from the store to my car, ensuring that I had the correct blades of the right size. His patient diligence managed to help me find the right fit. The only thing that would have made the experience better is if windshield wipers weren't so pricey. But he made sure to do everything he could to help me that day, so I'm appreciative. Thank you Elijah M.

These folks really helped me out in a pinch today. Had a flat tire with a stripped lugnut that wasn’t properly put on, and they were easily able to help me get a ratchet, extension, and extra lugnut- additionally, it was very kind of them to let me change my tires in the parking lot! Because of their help I was able to replace the spare with my new tire successfully and fix the big problem for the day. Thanks to the excellent staff, your help was greatly appreciated!

My Harley broke down right behind the store the nice young lady and gentleman behind the counter helped me out to get the battery I needed and left me borrow a screwdriver to get the old one out. Also gave me some bandaids to cover up the cuts on my fingers from taken the battery out. Very nice staff at night very helpful. The manager needs to let them know they are awesome.

Customer services blows at this location. How are u gonna ask me witch of the three of the same head light do I want and when I ask what the diffence is you have no idea because how ur systems has it labeled idk what the difference between h10 h11 h9 and a h13 ?!? She told me to go take the old part and bring it in like no I want the replace light bulb for a 2010 ford flex and she got frost rust are and showed me the screen

Stopped in because my car wasn’t starting off and on. Rose at the register said we can help. Then a nice young man, sorry forget his name, came out and checked my battery and altinator. Didn’t show an issue but said it’s probably the battery, but suggested I take to my garage to make sure, didn’t want to sell me a battery, just in case it wasn’t the problem. How considerate he was !!This was on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023
