There are many journeys a person takes in their life and few strangers along the way a person needs to trust blindly. Do this right, the story told from these journeys is one full of smiles, excitement, and the story repeated without bore. When I grow old, I will remember the experience I had buying from BMW of York as one of these journey’s.
Avery with that quickness got me in touch with Ben, who wrapped together a bmw w a pretty deal, and sent me down to the GM who chatted with me before wishing me safe travels.
It is in my opinion that BMW of York will be successful due to the quality personnel. It doesn’t take computers and robots to make businesses succeed, just well trained staff.
The principle behind selling automobiles is often misunderstood as a “house always wins” mentality. While this anti-capitalistic attitude is correct, dealerships, at their core, are still a business and need to make profit to succeed.
Other dealerships fail because they don’t make an ounce of effort to maybe fit the car selection to the consumers need. When done wrong, it contributes to the hate towards the industry.
I hope my experience helps guide future buyers towards selecting BMW of York, great service team (my cars maintenance notes were immaculate). Just with how difficult it is to keep successful business afloat in todays market, it is a monument to quality management and execution by staff for the operation’s achievements. Pass this along to the owner if you live in the area and know the head honcho.
If you’re reading this it’s too late, you’re buying a
BMW.
Long story short, bought a CPO bmw at BMW of York and it felt like the world was right again; honest GM( Joe L.), great salesman (Ben B). Please stay core to being great and I hope life rewards you both.

Ben Burch is not just a sales person, he's a true sales professional. I could not ask for a better professional to sell me my car. I inquired about a pre-owned Lexus last month and asked him to to do a bit of leg work for me and he did it without hesitation. He really went above and beyond and was straight forward and honest through the whole process, sent me pictures and videos of the under carriage before I got there. I drove 4 hours in traffic to see the vehicle and it did not disappoint, and neither did Ben or any of the staff. So many other vehicles I have gone to see in person were over the top "re-condtioned" and bathed in greasy upholstery dressing or armor all. Not this vehicle, it was very clean and done right. 5 stars to the detail department as well. Because I was an out of state buyer we had to wait until the title was in hand before I could officially purchase the vehicle and take it home with me due to PA selling regulations. Ben and the sales management team allowed me to still agree on a deal in good faith and place a deposit to hold it for me rather than try to sell it to a local buyer before the end of June which I am sure they could've easily done. Ben was excellent at keeping me updated and informed throughout the few weeks of waiting for the title to come in from the trade in deal. Not only that, I did notice that they took the vehicle off of the website and set the car aside for me rather than line up potential buyers as a contingency plan. I want to express my gratitude to Ben and the sales team for this, that is on another level of class and integrity in my opinion. It's just a nice gesture that I didn't expect from these fine people at BMW of York. I picked the vehicle up today and could not be happier with the entire process. Shout out to Ben's fellow sales professional who grabbed my 2nd set of keys from the detail department to help out and the finance manger that walked me through the final paperwork, friendly and nice gentlemen. Even the service staff greeted me kindly and offered complimentary beverages during my short wait. I work in the car industry as a service advisor and was very impressed with every aspect of this experience. In total I traveled about 10 hours over 2 trips and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you to all the good kind people there and big thank you to Ben Burch. Ben is THE MAN! Please go see Ben and the people at this class establishment, you will not be disappointed!

Do not buy a car here. I bought a BMW here last spring and they did NINE hard inquiries on my credit to get me an auto loan. NINE. credit score went way down. Also had issues with car within 6 months and had 3k bill from their service department. Stay away.

Would have gave 5 stars but.. I brought my BMW in for a recall when I came back in to pick up my vehicle I could not find an associate anywhere waited 20 minutes and had to call to let them know i was in the showroom because no one was in the service area or on the floor when i was given my receipt they charged for a complete complimentary wash and vaccum which they did not do other than that they are great people to work with!

As a guy who HATES shopping - auto or otherwise - I had a tremendous experience with Ben Burch. Easy, no car salesman fluff. A straight forward approach that won the day. Less than 24 hours later I drove off with my new ride!
Ben was outstanding and I would recommend him to anyone!

Since moving to York, PA I have exclusively worked with Anthony Schneider at BMW of York, previously Apple BMW. Relying on Anthony’s knowledge, and experience, I have purchased 3 vehicles since moving here. Each vehicle has been a perfect fit for me, not to mention beautiful! I will certainly be calling Anthony for all vehicle needs in the future, why would I go anywhere else?

I would not recommend buying a used vehicle here. In my first week of owning the vehicle, I got a check engine light. I contacted BMW of York who had no interest in helping or reassuring me that they would back the purchase or honor their 30-day warranty (see their response). However, they were happy to blow up my phone with text messages trying to sell me another vehicle in week 1 of ownership. I'm in week 4 of ownership, the vehicle is back in the dealership for another check engine issue that was first reported last year according to the Hyundai app. I feel very misled and have serious concerns about their knowledge of this issue.
Finally, if you decide to purchase there... PLEASE READ the final page of their contract that instructs you sign away your right to pursue legal action in a court with a judge or jury, instead you give Ciocca the right to settle through an arbitrator that they've predetermined.

Tyler was very sweet, attentive. He was patient with me while I paused to make my decision. The overall process was smooth and not stressful at all which most times car buying is stressful. Very happy overall.

Tyler was absolutely incredible. He was probably the nicest salesman I’ve ever met. Polite, professional, relatable, highly informative, and didn’t push anything a single time. This was my first experience with BMW period and the interaction has solidified this dealership and sales person as the place I will come when it’s time to buy. Highly recommend.

I just have wonderful things to say about Tyler. He was extremely kind, patient, knowledgeable, and probably the most respectful car salesman I have ever worked with. He went above and beyond, and I would absolutely recommend him and this dealership to anyone!!!!

I've purchased two vehicles from BMW of York and each experience was great from sales to service! Evan in sales is very knowledgeable and easy to work with and Brian's service team is skilled and extremely thorough. You won't be disappointed purchasing and servicing your car here!

Customer service is nice. Unfortunately, they over charge for services. I took my car there because of an engine light. I spent over 5k on repairs there, way over priced for stuff I supposedly needed. Two weeks later my car stopped working and when I told them, they wanted to charge me more money to look at it and fix it when I had previously paid them a lot of money to check the car and fix the problems they supposedly had found. They did not work with me and overcharged me with the new repairs again which it was just a fuse. Apple BMW charged me $500 for the first fuse and wanted $350 for every other fuse left. I was able to get the fused online, it cost me $20 and a different mechanic put it in for me for free at a different location. Very disappointed in this place.

First off, their Gen. Mgr. has been there only one year, and simply has NO CLUE about BMW service. First, they sold me a car that had been in a rear-end accident to the tune of $8,000 worth of damage, and to make amends, simply extended the warranty from 6 mths. to one year. Then, when repairing a wheel bearing and TPMS, they "forgot" to re-bolt the TPMS. When repairing my passenger-side window module, they flashed the entire car's programming, erasing my DCT tune... and refused to claim responsibility, stating that I should've let them know the tune was present when having a window unit repaired (!) Lastly, when I asked about compensation for their error and/or where in writing they stated that a customer was responsible for alerting the SA to an added tune, I was told, "We'd like you to not return, we don't want your business."
STAY AWAY!!! With Sun Motors in Carlisle, and Lancaster BMW as close as they are, there's no reason to take your Bimmer here!
