Paul was amazing! I needed brakes on my car. I took it to a garage that wanted to charge me way over 500$. Called Ankers Garage and they charged me way less and did amazing job. They checked to make sure I truly needed what the other place was saying. very straight forward from the very beginning, highly recommend going to this garage. I will return hands down.

I almost feel bad posting this but I will NEVER take another vehicle there again..twice now the experience has been just unacceptable!!

Good service, honest and fair pricing and they don't try and sell you something you don't need. I took my car to a dealership and they told me I needed repairs costing several thousand dollars. I took it to ankers and showed Paul the estimate. He looked my car over and said you don't any of that stuff. I only needed one thing on the list and it was one third of the price the dealership quoted.

Ankers has had my vehicle for a couple months now. I went initially to get my alternator fixed. It got fixed and worked for a couple weeks. Then it broke down again so I took it back and they replaced the alternator under warranty for the second time..weeks later same thing happened. I had also gotten a new battery installed...well I took it back for the third time and it's been there ever since. They do not pick up their phone or return calls. I would not reccomend using this garage. I'm still unsure where my car is and I'm starting to think this garage is using it for insurance fraud because the labor is covered under the parts warranty.

Took my car in the morning to get a custom exhaust on. They finished it in only 2 hours and did an amazing job. Great prices and friendly people. Dan was great.

Place has lost their special touch........ went as return customer worst experience I've had in a while. I will say the owner is nice but I lost way too much time and money with this place. Avoid this place if possible

Paul Ankers is a lying scumbag piece of s*** shop owner and should never be trusted with anyone's car. If he tells you you need serious engine work GET IT IN WRITING BEFORE ANY WORK IS ATTEMPTED OR RECORD HIM ON YOUR PHONE so that you will have proof of what he stated he will do. If you do not he will walk right into court and lie to any judge to avoid being held accountable for damage he has done. Never under any circumstances should you ever do any business with this individual when it concerns engine damage. He was sued in March of 2022 for failing to live up to his words and lied in court on record to avoid taking responsibility for the engine he destroyed. He was forced to pay a fee which amounted to the cost of a brand new engine to replace the one he destroyed. Also, once he destroys your property he will make up any excuse attempting to stall you into just going away and not bothering him to be held accountable. Get a lawyer. He will not respond to lawyers but retain one because you will be taken him to court. He also does not respond to the Better Business Bureau either thinking if he doesn't respond his problems will go away. They won't. Once the court orders him to come he will then show up with a lame excuse about lawyers letters being lost in the mail and that's why he never responded. But the letter from the court won't get lost and he WILL show up. There is audio recording of Paul Anker saying he would specifically FOOT THE BILL FROM THE DEALERSHIP concerning the vehicle he destroyed. There are Two Recordings 7 days apart of Paul saying the bill is on him. I was privy of hearing both recordings. Paul definitely says "The bill is all on me". In court, and on record, Paul says he never said that. THE AUDIO RECORDING PROVES HE DID. Paul Anker is a lying sack of s*** scumbag and his reputation has been destroyed. BTW: his brother Dan worked directly on the car damage it then made it so the car would not start to reveal damage done. Lying saying they couldn't get it started. Thats the level of unscrupulous acts Ankers Garage York Pa will go through instead of taking responsibility and owning up to the damage they have done to customer's property. PS: Paul also keeps a 9mm handgun behind the counter and has no problem flashing his handgun when you've become fed up with his lying and stalling for 8 weeks. Dan has a handgun too that he keeps in the garage in one of the tool cabinets.
