This place is wonderful. I first went to a place in Shrewsbury as it is closer to my home but was told there was an 8-10 hr wait and if I left would lose my place in line all while there was not another soul in the waiting area and I was holding my dog who had a bad allergic reaction to a shot. I promptly went to the center in York where they told me on the phone I could drop off my dog if the wait was too long. I got there and they took Titus right back and took care of him. The doctor and staff were so kind and pleasant. This will always be my first stop!

THIS PLACE IS SUCH A BLESSING.
I showed up about 15 minutes before they opened, desperate for help for my boxer doggie. (Now I can’t say they will do this all the time, but it seemed that THAT day ) they opened the doors four minutes early after seeing me out there. They helped my dog with the best of care, and guided me through what was a very traumatic experience.

I had to use these great people with 2 of my cats over the years. Both were the best! Even the first one that turned into end of life care. They were so caring, knowledgeable & open about every step along the way. I will not hesitate returning if I need their help when my regular vet’s office is closed. They also work well with my vet about the visit and care they gave.
So if you need help for your fur baby don’t hesitate to go! Thanks to all in the office!

I highly recommend that if you love and care about your pet do not ever take them to this facility the staff is very cold-hearted I have had a terrible experience when my dog was sick and my regular vet was closed the staff was very cold to me and treated my dog with no love care or respect. And completely overcharged. I would never go back there again

Our little girl Harper a doxy mix.
Let's have invented herself. Well. Chasing a squirrel or jumping off the bed.she was having problems in pain climbing the steps in our home. It continually got worse and we knew we had to have foreseen but our vet was booked up so we decided that it was an necessary to. Take her to the emergency veterinary center. They were kind compassionate and Barry understanding and we sold doctor Ludwig who explained what we need to do toremedy the situation. We were given a estimate of cost before she was seen.
And it turned out that she didn't need as much as they had thought.
I was very pleased with the service and wouldn't hesitate
To recommend them.
Thank you to the staff and Dr Ludwig for taking such care with our little girl. She's on the mind and as soon as she's better, she's going on a diet because she needs to lose some pesky Lbs.

While I have had poor experience with this ER in the past, I will say they have improved tremendously over the past. The staff was friendly, polite, and still professional. This last ER visit was a good experience and I would go back to them if an emergency were to arise again.

Our dog needed to be seen as she was showing signs of congestive heart failure. The doctor and technician were so compassionate and helped me to determine to provide humane release for her. The procedure was handled with full consideration of my feelings and time-I did not feel rushed in any way. I appreciate the kindness shown to me by all the staff on this difficult day.

Brought my new kitten into AERC after my reg vet had closed for the evening, I was concerned with a little spot on his skin. The receptionists' at the front desk were all so kind and helpful when I came in worried about my little guy. I felt bad because it was VERY busy and my cats situation wasn't necessarily an emergency, but I was nervous and didn't want him to be uncomfortable overnight. The staff up front was truly amazing, they made me feel welcomed and at ease. The technicians were just as kind and efficient as the front desk, giving frequent status updates and provided my little guy some water while he waited. Dr. Weisberg was incredibly warm and thorough when explaining my cats diagnosis, he was able to explain everything to me to where I had not a single question when done. We were supplied with meds and on our way with a happy kitty. Thank you Dr. Weisberg and staff for being there when I needed you :)

The business is clean and neatly kept. We were welcomed by friendly receptionists and the vet tech was warm and caring. Our pets issue was investigated and treated, the doctor was informative and explained all he saw and found as well as what to expect and do next. Couldn't be happier with the experience.

Took my senior pitbull mix in for a UTI. Staff was friendly and not judgmental like other vets I have tried. Each staff member that walked through the waiting area stopped to say hi and pet her. They took the time to explain what they were going to do along with an estimate. Estimate needed to be paid upfront. They stated that I could leave while they did everything and would call me. They did and even told me to come a little later, if I wanted to, to get her because it did get busy. They explained everything they did, found, how to give medicine and how to proceed. I even received a credit back on the amount paid.
