Fun spot. Great for families with young children (5-12). One admission price with lots of activities that don't require additional fees. Live animals, a bounce area, a large slide, and lots of playground equipment. Also food available from various concession areas. They have lots of seasonal activities. A good value for the money. Recommend going early before the crowds arrive in the afternoon.

A beautiful place, great food and great service. It's going to be a shame when it's all built up around it. Whatcha gonna do? Progress, right?

Although I think the Haunted House portion is no longer there, the Christmas Light Show as well as Fall events are always a blast. Good food and drinks as well in their little bar portion.

"Christmas just ain't Christmas, without the ones you love." My son and adopted family (you know, those friends that become family) with their children (grown children) went to Shady Brook Farms. It was my son and my first time going. If you love holiday lights and decorations, this is the place to go. It's a drive-thru light show. The place is huge. Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, I do, I just saying.....it's a nice place to go with your family. Go create good memories.

It is pretty expensive but...the holiday light show has become tradition at this point. We visit throughout the year as well and the farm is always clean, animals look healthy, store is well stocked and the employees do a really good job.

A Mesmerizing Journey Through Light and Wonder at Shady Brook Farm!A few nights ago I had the privilege of experiencing a spectacle that can only be described as enchanting—two miles of pure magic at Shady Brook Farm. Nestled amidst millions of twinkling lights, this farm transformed into a wonderland that left me in awe.The decision to visit Shady Brook Farm was spontaneous, driven by a desire to create a special moment for my 92-year-old mother, whose health has been fragile. Little did I know that what awaited us would be nothing short of extraordinary. As we entered the illuminated trail, we were greeted by a myriad of colors that danced in harmony, casting a spell that seemed to transcend time itself. The air was filled with the soft hum of Christmas carols, adding a soundtrack to our journey through this luminous landscape. My loyal Labrador, Calypso, accompanied us on this adventure, standing as a symbol of unwavering companionship amid the sea of lights. Together, we weaved through the illuminated path, each step revealing a new facet of the farm's artistry. The night unfolded like a storybook of magic, with every twist and turn revealing a new tableau of wonder. The sheer scale of lights, both in the sky and on the ground, created a symphony of brilliance that touched the heart and ignited the spirit. It wasn't just a display; it was a journey through the very essence of Christmas magic. What started as a quest to lift my mother's spirits became a profound reminder of life's unpredictable nature. In the midst of the dazzling lights, we found an opportunity to create lasting memories, to savor every breath and relish each shared moment. Shady Brook Farm became more than a destination; it became a canvas for the art of connection and love.As the night grew late, and we emerged from this enchanting trail, the smiles etched on our faces spoke volumes. Shady Brook Farm had not only brightened our evening but had also illuminated our hearts with the magic of the season. In a world where the ordinary often overshadows the extraordinary, Shady Brook Farm stands as a testament to the transformative power of light, love, and shared moments. If you're seeking a place where the mundane fades away and wonder takes center stage, this farm is a must-visit.May your Christmas and New Year be filled with the same magic that Shady Brook Farm bestowed upon us—a magic that transcends time and leaves an indelible mark on the tapestry of your memories.

The price of the drive through holiday light show is ridiculous! I have been going to this yearly since about 2002. It used to be a donation to drive through, which I don't even think was a set price. Now the family that owns the farm is making $60 a car! (You get a slight discount if you buy tickets in advance online - I believe it is $50 a car). The light show is nearly the same every year, and while it is probably the largest in the area, it is no longer worth the price. Hundreds of cars roll through there every night, traffic is ridiculous all around the farm because of it. It went from a special experience for everyone to the family being only in it for the profits. So disappointing.
