I have used Dr Darryl for all my pets, and I feel he is very personable with pets and owners. I have read some of the negative reviews and yes I have run into the phone situation or office being closed but I have always gotten a call back one way or another. Do I wish they had more hours yes, but does not stop me from going there.

No one answer the phone. When I needed it most, they were open from 9-10:30. But the doctor wasn’t in today so there was nothing they could do - why are they even open them!?! When I called back at 9:45 to see what day the doctor would be in, no answer. Went between just ringing and busy tone. When I decided to stop by around 10:15 they were closed. The Vet is amazing, but needs competent receptionists who do their job. I don’t even know the point or going to a vet when they’re never open and never respond.

Dr. Darryl Francomacaro has cared for our girl, Cocoa, since we first brought her in at 12 weeks of age. Most of that time our experience with MAH was with well-visits and shots. Dr. Darryl and his team were always caring, professional and took good care of our pup. Over the past few years, Dr. Francomacaro, Erika, Abby, and Stephanie have been there for Cocoa, and for us, through several surgeries and recovery, as well as treatment for a chronic disease.After 15+ years we had to say goodbye to Cocoa this past week. She had a wonderful, long life, and it gave us great comfort to know that she always received excellent veterinary care and love from the team at MAH, especially during her last months. We are grateful to the team at Makefield Animal Hospital and recommend them highly.

Great vet was able to see Athena when no one else had any appointments. He fixed my dog, we will be returning back whenever its needed. Thank you

The veterinarian is friendly and explains things to you, but it's hidden off of a road. It's next to a kennel or sounds like it. The waiting room is very tiny and they had a dog roaming around the waiting room. I don't mind it one bit, but if a dog goes in that isn't good with other dogs,it may not mix well. The room is small too. But they do their job and very well!

Wonderful with cats and kittens, he also has given us good behavioral advice for one of our kittens, an adopted extremely shy semi feral cat. Could not have kept it without him. It is a one person practice, one physician can only cover so many hours, and some hours are for surgeries.

We took our new dog here for a checkup. Everyone we dealt with was nice and friendly. They gave our dog treats to make him feel comfortable during the appointment. Due to the friendly service we will be back for more appointments.

They have always take good care of our pets. Weird hours make it hard to get a hold of them for emergencies that don't necessarily require a trip to a much more expensive 24 hour animal hospital.

I would never take your pet here. NEGLECTFUL to a put where it could put your pets health in jeopardy. I have had two Horrible experiences. Terrible staff. (Rude and Nasty.) This place is extremely unprofessional neglectful unorganized. This is not the kind of place that does what they do bc it is their Calling and they care about animals. It is just a job to them. And they barely do their job. I wouldn't take a goldfish here to get checked out!
They should close down. And staff should find new jobs not working with ppl or animal's.

Dr. Darryl is excellent with reptiles with decades of experience. I was referred to him by a local pet store that specializes in reptiles. He quickly saw and treated my leopard gecko who made a full recovery.

Small hometown-style vet - great people and service, only reason for 4 stars is their limited hours.
