usually this place is great, I tried to go Thursday around ind 6:45 and the shop was closed two employees inside idk if it closed early but i wanted to do some trade ins and this was the only game stop close

I recently went in to trade a game for a gift card. While I was going through this process, I explained to the manager, Chad, that I was doing this to purchase an item that was currently available online. I asked if they had anything similar in store but when I did he said “just these but they’re mine”I asked if I could use my points and monthly reward with the trade/card purchase and he said “no” but I could use the points and reward during my purchase online no problem. Well, I went to do so but the online rewards I got with my points wouldn’t work. So I went back to ask him for help but he was rude and told me that he doesn’t buy stuff online and can’t help. It was obvious that he just wanted to get me out of the store as fast as possible. Then when I asked to return the card and get my game back, he said he couldn’t because I already signed it away to them five minutes earlier. Very cool! No one on the customer service line is available either and the app keeps crashing. Great work GameStop! Keep hitting them home runs!
