I have known Dave for quite a long time...since high school.Just a few days ago I needed some service on my Impala after making a long journey from Florida. My exhaust was rotted and about to fall down and I needed to get back to Florida.I showed up there as they were about to close up for the day and they took me in and ordered some parts and repaired the problem at a reasonable cost.I recommend this shop!! “I was sent here after contemplating the ride out to the Poconos to another transmission shop but I finally heard from multiple sources that Shawnee was the place to go. Man, am I ever glad I did!The guy at the front desk were more than welcoming and thoroughly explained the process to me from start to finish. Every time a part on our vehicle was touched my phone would ring and they'd give me an update on what they did and what was next. They even offered me to come down and watch them as they work or to show me bad parts without just replacing them and throwing them away. We all have heard horror stories of shops that replace perfectly fine parts or pretend to change parts. Not here! No way no how! .The van was fixed in no time and the price of the fix was completely reasonable compared to the quite I received else where”

“As I traveled from Maine to Pennsylvania on Sunday I had unexpected car trouble; at times I did not think I'd make it. We still have to travel from Pennsylvania to Florida, so we needed to have the car looked at. We were able to get it into the local dealership in Wilkes-Barre. Unfortunately they told us we needed a new transmission, which would cost $9000, and it would take at least two weeks to repair it. My brother-in-law checked with a friend of his to find a local mechanic who could give us a second opinion.
