“Notice anything off about this beautiful sweater? It looks perfect doesn't it? Well you'd be right if you said yes but you'd be surprised to know that this sweater suffered significant fire damage! I'm talking about at least 10% surface burnt and completely incinerated. As you can see in the photos, the sweater is completely whole thanks to the extremely talented team at SewRob who repaired it to it's original state! They did so in a perfectly reasonable time and for a totally fair price as well. If you ever suffer serious and grave clothing damage that you think might totally irreversible, fear not, talk to the people at SewRob and they may be able to sort your knit back to new! What an amazing business!”
“I’m from out of town. Came 3 hours early due to trip plans changing. Joe M greeted me immediately and said he would do his best to accommodate me. He ended up going out of his way to get me in and get me into a new driver. Super informative and fun to talk to. “I had an amazing experience at Anila’s Dressmaker. She is extremely friendly but more importantly she’s extremely talented and knowledgeable. I went in to get my rehearsal dinner dress hemmed which had a long train but Anila recommended a subtle but gorgeous bustle instead. It immediately made the dress look so much more formal and high end. I know a lot of other tailoring companies wouldn’t have gone through the effort to suggest something like that. Anila genuinely wanted the dress to look its absolute best and she cares about the quality of her work! I ended up going back a few weeks later to get my after party dress hemmed and she did an amazing job. I will definitely continue to go to her for all future dress alterations!!”

“I bought my wedding dress out of town, and needed somewhere in Philly to get it altered. Philly bride did such an amazing job altering my gown! It was a ballgown with a lot of beading, several layers and a long train, and they did an amazing job taking it in, hemming, and making a bustle that was easy figure out on the day and really looked great. For all that work, I also found the price very reasonable. I am so happy I worked with Philly bride.”

“La Bella Moda is what bridal salon dreams are made of!!!!!!My mom and I went to La Bella Moda, as a very casual, “get our hands wet” situation. It was my first ever time trying on any wedding gowns and I really wanted to go to have the experience with only my mom, more than anything. Gabby, the owner, spent the morning with us and helped us through the process. After listening to me and my likes, and going through only a handful of dresses, she ended up pulling something for me that I never in a million years would have picked for myself but ended up being the dress we bought that SAME DAY!I can’t speak highly enough about Gabby and La Bella Moda. She made this experience with my mom SO special. She was attentive, patient, kind, and made us both feel extremely comfortable. Above all, it is very clear Gabby knows what she is doing when it comes to finding the right dress for a bride. It took no time at all for her to pull the exact dress I ended up buying. I felt as though Gabby was just a long time friend who we were celebrating with as opposed to a sales person.I would choose this place time and time again if I could!”

“This is one of Philadelphia's best kept secret for unique, avant-garde luxury clothing. This shop needs to open in NYC or Tokyo. My mom and I arrived and a stylist greeted us at the door and offered drinks. Lots of black and white clothing, everything had design details that was unique, special and beautiful. My favorites were the hand painted dresses, oversized white shirt with patchwork details, a silk skirt that had holograms on it, a convertible jacket that changed depending on the straps I pulled on, and a beautiful leather bag. The SERVICE was 100%! When I tried a dress that needed an adjustment in the bust, one of the designers (WHAT!!!!) came down from their studio to help me and they adjusted it and delivered it to me in 2 days! As a size 10-12, I find shopping for high design clothing hard since most of the luxury brands don't offer items in my size. But here, I found great items that made me feel confident and beautiful. Most of all, I love that they had stylists in the shop to help suggest items to me. Thank you for a great shopping day! See you soon for Fall and Winter shopping!”

Kind is an understatement of her customer service, she was an absolute gem! Great curation of items for Muslim customers in a "main stream" mall. “Epic fail trying to return some winter clothes I didn't get to wear because we really haven't had much of a winter. The last sale price was 3x below what I paid so I deemed it not worth it. I'll just hold on to them until next year. Hopefully I'll get to wear them. Still love old navy, no shade !!”
